I'm not really a fan - I think the skills are bland for most of the characters, you never get enough points to put any into most of the attributes, there's poor descriptions of what the attributes even do like how damage is calculated, monsters get all of these annoying buffs that not a single character can do anything about, you don't know what the next fight will be so you can't pick an appropriate character and you really only have a chance if you min / max with the Flake. Furthermore, if nothing is animated then it's really not hard to add more variety in the monsters. Wow, another bird. Another zombie dog. Yay. Non animated combat games are so very boring.

Damage notification is too slow. In longer fights (like the boss fight) its unable to keep up and after you change character you still see notifications from the last fight. Problem would dissapear if few boxes could appear at the same time or maybe just make them float faster

If you reset the regenerating girl's stats and put everything into HP and regeneration, she can solo the final boss -- she gets restored to full health every few turns. + so everyone can see.

The art and story line is very good, the game is a little simplistic in the fact that its the same for every fight. But over all i loved the game. I would give it a 3.5 but i cant, so you get a 3.

Just for the lulz, I tried throwing everything I had at the final boss before just shrugging and putting out Last Flake to easily win.
Needless to say, the others were destroyed where the Last Fake just shrugged and continued on to win.

Love the gameplay, interesting and the characters were all well thought out, but honestly I can't help but feel like half of the story is missing or something. I got all the way through chapter 3 and still have no idea what the hell is going on. Perhaps some sort of intro or more storyline is in order.

Nice game, but some of the characters really do seem unbalanced. The detective and student have no healing abilities and relatively bland abilities.
P.S. Instead of 'Fear of Darkness' or 'Fear of Insects', call them Nyctophobia and Entomophobia, the official names for those fears. It sounds a lot cooler.

Use Last Flake on the final boss, 5 points in health, 5 points in regeneration. He won't be able to do any lasting damage. Chip away at his health at your leisure.

to keep your health topped up during the hard campaign: if one of your characters is knocked out, dump all their points into health so they heal faster while you use the others. example: a character with 20/100 health will take 4 turns to fully recover, but if you boost their health to 120/200 it'll only take 2. (assuming your remaining characters can win on their own.)

On the hard difficulty, it can be handy to upgrade the health of some people (try it out). With the werewolf-girl, upgrading health + auto-heal is a good combo.

The game gets very boring after a while and the characters aren't well balanced like the student and the detective. Hard mode only really opens up 3 characters due to the unbalanced student and detective so it is very boring to only play 3 character unless you want to knock out the other two. 3/5

Aukk's strategy works brilliantly. That said, you CAN use her Bite move (NOT rage) as long as it's only level 1 still (make sure to put your 9 attribute points towards getting 200 hp and level 5 regen for Last Flake) as a way to do some additional damage so it doesn't take QUITE as long. That said, it still took me 89 turns lmao.
Just make sure Last Flake is at full health going INTO the fight, and you'll rock it easy.

Tip for easy kill last boss on HARD.
Use vampire lady - skill: 4 on life, 4 on regen.
Battle -
1)Skill atak
2) Simple atak
3) Defence
4) Repeat 1,2,3

Well, the hit is still a bit off, maybe its just my browser (firefox), maybe it's just my unique system specs, or maybe it's some random factor that no developer could ever fix by updating the engine :). 5/5 for weird sounds and the cool characters.

A little glitch I am ashamed to say I used in Hard mode: If you use defensive stance then load the battle and take the same character you will keep the bonus on concentration

Max Last Flake's (the werewolf girl) regeneration, then level her health. By the end of the game, she'll have 200 health and I can guarantee you she'll be able to take the boss single-handed and never go below 180 health. Another strategy would be to do the same thing (maxing regeneration, then leveling health) with Headhunter Jake. It's more of a matter of who you like better, and I find the werewolf girl sexier than the shotgun dude.

For Hard difficulty i found it best to start off with all points in concentration to max my health regeneration till the harder bosses.

Max out your vampire girls base health regen, and put the rest of your points into your health attribute. Only do your base attack against the last boss(even on hard). He does additional damage when you are hurt. This will only work if you go into the last battle with full health. It's takes quite a few attacks but it is a simple and easy way to win.

Last Boss on hard.
Go all out attack, the 2nd character (The Monk) will do the most damage if you stack out his 1st attack ability. It has the ability to do 10% of someones life for each hit. I took out over half of the guys life with just him.

just go on a total defensive with skills that regenerate health or dodge, and you will have no problem with Hard difficulty.

This game is really fun, however the laggyness of it is really pissing me off. How can I use a timing based game with f'ing lag because of your graphics? I'm not even on a bad computer.

I never thought I would like a game mechanic like this, but there is enough depth in this game that it kept me engrossed all the way through a hard playthrough. Very well done. 5/5

Really fun game, and have to agree with others... Last Flake is pretty OP.
Wish I had read the regen thing earlier... Took me a lot longer than it should have, since I was stuck on chapter 7, with detective and flake both being at 25 health or less.. So even switching over to that strategy didn't help much, because of that stupid ability where they do more the more they have hurt you...

Headhunter Jake with a concentration of 12 (Maxed) doing the last leg of the final boss on Hard gave me the win. The boss was only able to dish out 5 damage per hit.

I really like the combat system in this game. And I actually think all of the characters are pretty well balanced with the exception of the student, she could use a little bit more power. still 5/5 though. Oh, and to people stuck on the final boss, use the monk guy at the beginning and use his ultimate attack. Very very helpful.

wow that was an easy hard badge kinda long tough ... dtarting in hard was a good idea i actually aced the game first try =D altough the regen trick was so awesome and i only tough about it looking at coments while game was loading
