I love this game--the game mechanics, the music, and story. But the thing that stands out to me after finishing it a few times is that it doesn't feel like it has a real ending. It ends by interpreting your choices in the game, but they don't feel like they have any real bearing on anything. It almost reminds me of a personality test. I don't think it's all that accurate in that regard. I would love to see a sequel to this . . . somehow I don't think that's going to happen though, seeing it's been 11 years since it came out.

After playing the game, I replayed the game and always chose the hard way when there was a choice, to see if there was a "good ending". There wasn't. Finding the harder solutions to the "choice" puzzles was fun, but I'm disappointed that the ending doesn't change except for differently listing your choices because your choices were different. Other than that, the game is amazing and clever and I really enjoyed it. 5/5

Nice concept! Heads up, the level design wasn't airtight though. Some levels I was able to run straight to the exit by sidestepping in the air, making specific jumps etc

This game is awesome. I love the premise and the idea that they keep sacrificing themselves to help the other advance. I like that you throw some choice levels in there but I wish you did something with them at the end depending on what was chosen. It wouldn't have to be much, but when you list my choices at the end, I say "ok, so what?" Make another, please. Do it now!

Wasn't a bad concept at all! Well tought of. Now would need longer challenging puzzle but its a good start, was enjoyable and worth playing. Keep it up!

The idea of having to hold yourself under water until you drowned multiple times so that your loved one could burn them-self to death multiple times to get through some doors is horrifying

I wish there were a way to restart the game at the last level just so I can see each of the choices instead of completely re-doing the entire game. Other than that, really cool concept!

I noticed the different doors, one for the man exiting and one for the woman, but it took me till I was half way through the game before I realized that Hades's constant babbling offered me a choice. However, I have never seen any correlation between the choices and the doors.

It's pretty good, but the choices in game weren't clear. It's great that there's more than one way to get through a level, but if they're supposed to affect the ending it wasn't clear that they were choices the first time through. "Look, a door that's closer than that one. I think I'll take it." I didn't feel like going through a door had any weight. To me it was just "solve x". Of course looking back at it you can see them, but in the end it didn't feel like it made a difference. Mechanics were great, loved it. Music is ech, I did like how it varied depending on death but I feel it could have been expressed more. It's fun, but could the experience be greater? Yes.

Great game mechanics, there's definitely potential on that front. The graphics were whatever, I didn't like or dislike them. I found the music to be far too minimalist and repetitive, needs to be more atmospheric with a greater variety of chords/notes. The game is FAR too easy the puzzles need to be harder to figure out. Just my opinion.

You make the best games... although I do kind of hate you for the level I'm stuck on right now... Awesome Job! On a different note it'd be nice if folks avoided spoiling the endings for those who aren't there yet.

Except for the ease/challenge bit the choices weren't really communicated well... and they had no impact other than a bit of text at the end. Nice concept and good gameplay, but feels like the game wasn't done yet when it got uploaded. Could have been a great game, sad to see it like this.

Short, but brilliant. Easy but also nice. Because in the end, sends a moral. Another artistic gem here in Kongregate. Took me 5 minutes to solve it, that was kinda short, but it was 5 worthy minutes. 1 for each star given.

i love how this game has you intentionally walking into the hazards instead of avoiding them. all those years of being horrible at platformers has finally paid off. lol

This was honestly one of the best games I've played. The pictures were beautiful, the story-line exquisite, and it was not too hard, nor too easy. Simply a work of art.

Fun game, however, those annoyingly placed grates before an ending that have no purpose other than to trap you, ARE ANNOYING

The soundtrack skipping every time you die gets REALLY annoying very quickly. It'd probably be better to keep the soundtrack contiguous, with the elemental embellishments joining and disappearing as needed.
Otherwise, a very imaginative game, 4/5

this was a pretty solid game, i'm going to reiterate as so many here have that i would have loved to see more differentiated endings.
