might just not be understanding how the business stuff works but seems like the sellers arent actually selling anything when i try to use it

It's a pretty quick game at the moment, but it's fun. I will enjoy watching this one evolve. I love fishing games... I actually hate fishing RL, though... never did figure that one out...

Lets see, when it comes to the fishing upgrades they all do the same thing (increase catch rate). In my opinion it would be better that each one did something specific that added to the game. Like the reel upgrade could lower the amount of time between manual fishes, assuming you implement a small timer delay to offset the use of autoclickers. Pole itself could instead be used to determine the tier of fish you can catch (if its level 3 you can catch up to 3) with string being an increase in chance to get something higher. While hook is decreased chance to get lower tier stuff.

Another "Please help me finish my game" - game. I'm pretty sure Kongregate is turning into Steam. Pretty soon we're going to have a "Greenlight" mechanic - In a free online gaming website...Come the **** on. Way to go devs.

The scavengers going missing is ridiculous - even at full upgrade they go missing. Not a great mechanic - terrible for idle games, works for management games.
The profit per click far outweighs the idle income - that makes this a clicker/incremental, not an idle game.
I'd suggest, as jaf1981 said, to make sure your game is as close to "finished" as you can. You should be updating for bugs, or impassable points, or just extra bonus content - not the base content that should be there.
Otherwise, I do like the concept of fishing, but maybe make the business aspect more front and center (after all, who can fish up several dozen fish in a few seconds by themselves with a pole?)

Already reached max. Please add how much you earn per tick, so it's easier to balance out the salesmen, and fishermen...

No a terrible start. Here are just a few observations: Not a fan of not having everything on one stage or panel. Scrolling for info "below the fold" is annoying. The idea that the workers would just disappear was confusing at first. Some management tools would be nice; mining (bait and fish per second, income (sales per second), would help players balance their investments.

Well I'll mimic what everyone else is saying: Good game, but needs more. Currently just too short. Also, I found a glitch. Bottlenosed Dolphins make the inventory invisible in the shop.

enjoyed it, but it does need more. Different rod upgrades, all upgrades currently do the same thing, maybe upgrades that improve chances of catching a particular type of fish? Upgrades that have a chance of using no bait? Upgrades that have a chance of catching 2x, 3x the fish etc.

You should remove the build in "auto-clicker". After pressing a button simply hold "Enter" key and you can see the numbers running faster then any auto-clicker could do. Took me 3 minutes to "finish" this game with it. lol

The automation is WAY to expensive. You are never getting any positive values from them. The clicking part is okayish. Keep working !

After I reset to try a different tactic, all the cooldowns vanished, letting me work and sell as fast as I could click. Needless to say, the game went a lot quicker. ;)

Perhaps make it a bit clearer that employees hired in the business section suck up your money even if they have nothing to do. I didn't realise that my income was like -1000 because I spammed fishermen lol.

Found a glitch. I have everything maxed, I have no employee, I have 228 bait, 15 pike, 3 swordfish, 3 clownfish, 2 bottlenose dolphin, 5 manta ray, and 5 killer whale. If I sell 5 killer whale for 10k each, they stay in my inventory and I get to sell them over and over again. I went from ~600$ to over a million and the same five Killer whales are still in my inventory.

The main character is quite a shady guy, hiring a fleet of fisherman looking to catch killer whales and then sell them off in the black market.

Here's a suggestion - releasing games super raw to get suggestions = bad rating = never going to do much = you're not going to make $$$. A free online game site doesn't respond well to "alphas".

In the beginning all I can catch are Tin Cans, Boots, and Rubber Ducks.. so it more looks like as a spring sea cleaning than fishing. What is really weird that I still need bait to catch Tin Cans.. I wonder that bait I need to use to catch something like that. :)

I love the cooldown - I love the game... You should just get more content. - more rubbish items, more low quality fish, a LOT more fishing equipment. now it's: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 - make it 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 - and so on - makes the game a bit slower and takes more time, I used 30 min to finish it all (max).
Anyways, loved it! :D
The cooldown was there to balance the game out. Without the cooldown, the game progresses too quickly. In the future, I will add upgrades which reduce the cooldown timer.
