Wow this game is rough as hell starting out but once you realize what each tower does etc you realize this is probably the best TD game yet - I end up practically covering the map in towers - dont try and upgrade to start out, if you can drop 10 earth towers that raise base damage for ALL towers - I tend to drop 15-20 of the majors (light, earth, air, hero, fire) before I ever even think about upgrading anything (except maybe air if i'm getting hammered). GREAT GAME.

HHS, you get 1 fire level 3, then get light level 1 until $20/tower, then upgrade light towers, when you reach 57 light power, your fire tower will start firing at topmost speed. Now, get earth level 4 towers, they too have "dam fast" speed and also fire at 1fpa. Win. Just hide somewhere and watch for mobs that run along map edge (there's a map with more than 1 exit for creeps, they can "misbehave" there).

Happy new year. I've played this game quite a bit over the last few weeks and learned a few helpful things. If you don't want spoilers, then don,t read this.......;firstly if you are having trouble at the start go to the options, unlock map and choose forest. the default map is freakin hard. Forest is easy. Secondly if you get a pulse tower and upgrade it three times it becomes pretty well godly. It does something like 200-300 damage, has fork (basically AOE) and adds 9 to the max damage of every tower you have and 18 to your heroes max damage. Once you get about ten or so of those up, then spend 300 gold or so getting yourself 20 level 1 ice towers. eventually level them up to level 2 for best effect. then go back to building level 4 pulse towers as many as you can where they will hit 2 or 3 roads. I've gotten three levels away from beating the forest doing this. Still tweaking my strategy.

Like the game. It has a good learning curve. If it seems too hard at first just keep developing new strategies. I still haven't beaten the game and I'm pretty good at most TD games. 5/5 since gameplay is more important to me than fancy graphics and sound.

i really like this game cus its hard and i think its probably the only td where i have trouble on the 1ST level and its very addicting.stop spamming the game just becus u cant beat it take time and learn strategies

tip -> start 2 venoms, then build a couple white with 1 upgrade as it chains. then some blue lasers (they increase damage of all towers) and light towers (increase spped of ALL towers). also options unlock maps some of the other maps are easier than starting map.

finally... finally a actual defence game that's HARD.. thank you games great 10/10 everyone sayin its too hard.. oh well.. get good simple as. game is a simple good hard defence game.

I tried Delta in Training mode and still couldnt get past the part where the bat things fly from the upper left corner. I am able to beat the Forest map, so its not that I'm an idiot. Either most maps are too hard or there is some secret trick.

excellent game thats finally almost challenging :] however it gets easy once you get enough splash+slow, as always :)

It's an interesting concept. I liked how different gates and paths will open up as the waves progress. One issue, however, is there is a lot of text to read on each of the towers. I would suggest removing the wave timer so the player has enough time to read everything they have to read.

the main trouble is with air flying at the edges of the map. Like say map 3, when the road from down to upper right opens, next flying level tends to go from down to down-right, ignoring the cannons, and the hero's just too weak here to put some misery to them. The game is quite passable, you need to go for speed, not range.

This game is too frustrating and takes wayyy too much time to master a map. The third level is just ridiculous. How are you supposed to have upgraded towers in four+ different spots as all the various routes open up. Plus the only strategy seems to be getting level 5 electric towers with the massive range, but I'm not sure how to do this with the 3rd map and the spread out strategic points, so I suppose there must be other ways to win, but I'm too frustrated at this point to bother.

I was playing in "normal" mode and having a heck of a time. Normal should be difficult. Now, I'm playing on sandbox and everything is much more reasonable.

loved the difference youve made in this compared to other defense. liked that i cud move. and what not. gave a better feel to the game. insted of being rendered useless and immobile agensted waves.
