One of the least fun grind-fests I've ever played. Why do developers do this? It could be a 5/5 game with balance, but it's hard to even give it one star in the current state.

The crafting is completely broken. I'm getting level 3 gear with level one items and level 1 gear with level 3 items. And it makes no sense to get an earth staff from a fire element.

Different color health bars for allies vs enemies would be great. Lots of other problems, but people already talked about those.

More issues: the main problem, IMO, is that gold does not scale well with stages. The most efficient way to grind is repeating lvl 1, which should not be desirable. More advanced levels should be more rewarding to grind, also the 1st time you complete a level it could have a special bonus in gold and items.
Spells are absurdingly annoying to level up. Casting them 50 times to get to level 2, per each spell? Absolutely too much hassle.
What's up with the runes that you cannot open? Do this happen when you already have all the proper element spells? Perhaps you could use extra runes to level up spells.

Cool game but it's a huge resource hog. Uses 8gigs of memory by the time you have 15 units or so and slows to a crawl.

This is exactly the kind of game that I love playing. But with that being said, there are several things that need improvement.
The rewards are not very rewarding, which means it's super grindy. I've had to replay the first level over and over to get enough gold to upgrade troops. Materials are hard to come by, and the random factor of the blacksmith makes it feel pointless. Using all level 3 materials to get a bronze or iron item makes me feel cheated. Blacksmith plans are far and few between, meaning I have to experiment to find recipes, which is just dumb. I'd rather spend my time playing the game than experimenting with materials to try to find exactly the right combination for an item that my units use.
I'd also rather spend my time playing the game then having to wait forever to see my rewards, and which units leveled. The results screen is way too slow.
It's a good game with a solid start, but a few tweaks would make it great. 4/5

I want to like this game. It's the kind of game I love. There are many unpolished issues with the gameplay that detract a lot from the experience, so I'm giving a 4/5.
Some stuff that could be easily improved:
* More info. As some have said previously, it's hard to know what's each thing for.
* Rebalance the grind. It's a little bit too grindy.
* Show battle results (items screen, then xp screen) either all at once, or all at once after clicking. Too much time wasted showing each hero XP increase, when you have many heroes.
* In barracks, let it auto-scroll when going through the heroes, and/or let us use keyboard arrows to navigate them. Show a check, or make it sortable, so that we can see which of them are pending a level up.

Show me the money! Glittering Prizes! DNCashman! Something to at least help cover the continuous costs of upgrading! Dx

for some dumb reason if you dont equip your war with swords at lv1 then they cant ever equip swords, gonna have to lower my rating

The amount it can chug when there are a lot of characters on the screen at once during battle is kind of sad for a game made in 2016, but great game overall. I really enjoy it.

Feels like Kong hasn't had a non-idle non-MMO game like this in awhile..... but needs: hot keys for spells, repeat previous combinations for blacksmith, and speed up on repeats for grinding.

Nice graphics and gameplay, but it is way too repetative, lack of any help what to do next, grinding is so slow that I got bored after about 15 mins of playing. Game has potential, but is bad balanced so 3/5.
If a game is too slow for you - just get some spells. That will keep you busy during battle.
If a game is lagging - try to play without chat (or steam version =). By some reason - chat is taking too much CPU.
If you feel that you dont have enough gold - try rearrange your army, position them better, craft appropriate items. It is fun to have All-DPS army, but it will not work. This is strategy, not a time clicker.

far too repetetive, and it feels like progress stops entirely once you reach the first 'boss' battle. there is no documentation of anything, there's lots of things to use but i have no idea what does what because no-one could be bothered to tell me and i am not in the habit of using trail and error for anything. it is not fun, much like this game.

Played it on Armorgames. It's really fun adn promising, but sadly, this game is rather buggy/unbalanced and needs some serious updates.

Want to farm wait till u get to skyscraper(and use a polimorph on him(put him on front row)) turns him into a sheep in 5 seconds or less 2400 gold in his mission
No, it was intended like that - you have a chanse to get better result, but you have a chanse to get worse result. The better materials you use - the more chanses that you will get better equpment.
Problem is a ads around game and chat. They consume too much CPU - even with speed up button it will be slow compared to steam version.
Can I invite you to try steam version then? Here is a key - ENXBD-EQMR7-F4G7N =)

i played it on armorgames and it is fun.... I like grinding but i think this is too much (the rewards for replaying a missions are too low).

There's some issues this game but its pretty cool overall. I wish there was more info on "Marvin" and his buddies on the rally screen.
Also using copper bars to make iron made me cringe.
