Since I've held the record for long enough now, I can give you lot some clues:
1. You need a flat surface less than 9 blocks wide that will NEVER BREAK. This is the most difficult part.
2. Never put the S, Z, L or J pieces sideways, unless you really have to. the other part shifts when the other part is destroyed.
3. You can push the J L and I blocks against the wall and get some time to think.
4. Like in poker, you have to fold and quit most of your games. You'll know when things go wrong. But if you've got a lot of points, try to make a new flat surface and salvage what you've got!
5. While it's possible to get 4 lines at a time, you should only try 1 or max 2 lines at once. Otherwise the neat order you've been building will most certainly get destroyed.
I haven't played this in a while but I'd love a challenger to the 66 lines ;)

yeah ^_^ but there never really is a way of completing any tetris game its just a how long you can last or speed challenge and stuff

HOLY BUGGER. HOW THE HELL DOES THIS HAVE NO BADGES? You would've thought there would be a hard badge for doing a line and an impossible for completing the game :/

Just got a score of 7, nothing shows up, though it saved my score when I managed to get 6 lines yesterday... I don't really get how the high scores are saved :o

Well, it now appears, so everything's all right; I don't know if it was because the server doesn't save the high scores directly or if Banthar added it manually, but anyway with this my last bit of criticism is gone :) Great job Banthar!

I don't get it: I just got a score of 5 but it does not seem to be saved. I did something like 6 yesterday too, same problem... Does the application not save high score ? I'm pretty disappointed since I was proud of my score; great game however, the original comic made me laugh out loud when I first read it so I'm glad to see a "playable" version of the game. :)

For more precise rotation, try using the wall. It will send the piece spinning, while still being rotatable, which is both good and bad. Most annoying aspect to me is the bounciness/loss of control as in "Irisu Syndrome".

IT IS POSSIBLE
you just have to balance the blocks with square blocks or line blocks to make a horizontal platform.with that as a base create lines on top of it.
my high score is 2^^

I just had a game and started with three square pieces and three line pieces. Why can't I get that in regular Tetris?
