You guys made a great game with real good re-playability, but, HOT DAMN(!), what is up with choking all the flying space with random obstruction? Even the early $$-making missions are bizarrely difficult with a random blimp sitting right on top of an objective. Get around to releasing Into Space III...but, calm down with the insane amount of hair-pulling objects in the way. 5/5.

Just played this again to gain all the achievements a second time. Still great fun. If Into Space Three ever gets made, consider putting in some die-hard quests such as Earth-to-Mars-and-then-Earth again. Or, all the way to Mars without taking damage. Landing on Mars with your entire rocket and nearly full fuel tanks. Or destroying twenty Earth UFO's and twenty Martian UFO's.
I know I'd play it.

I thank the people for throwing loads of money, fuel and repair kits in the air! You never know when a rocket could fly by and need it!

the obstacles at the space annoy me so much as i'm so freaking fast and even i'm maxed out i can't reach mars because my rocket is getting destroyed by those rocks -.-

This game is awful because its not realistic to the fact that there would not be that many things over a space station... and if you disregard that.. if im 0 distance off the ground.. and my jet push me up one and i float back down to 0 I should not explode and lose my bonus.

Nevermind I beat it. If you're having the same trouble here was my combo:
Head: Mark-V-AH
Body: Mark-V-RE
Fins: Mark-V-A
Engine: Mark-V-P
Boosters: Mark-V (The Last One)
Misc. Items: Radar-2, Built-In Cistern, Refueling, Device 1
Goal: Aim for acceleration gates and fuel pickups.

I love the game, but does anyone have any tips on completing the space cargo mission? It's the only thing between me and the hard badge... I've bought all rocket parts and tried lots of combinations, but I can't get higher than 200k/300k.

jabblesfan, cargo missions increase your weight a lot for the mission so if you thrusters and module havent been upgraded enough you dont have enough power to go up verry fast. also the module is inherantly a lot slower than the rest of your rocket.

Im having problems with the cargo missions. My spaceship just wont go anywhere it slowly climbs up but when I lose all the fuel from the main capsule the second capsule wont climb any and actually falls straight down ....Anyone knows whats going on?

Frien asked if I play with a vacuum cleanin simulator, lol. The rocket's booster sounds exactly like that. Also love when two helicopter crash, but instead exploding, they mount each other which looks like they copulating. Fun game.

lol my record was like 2/3 of the atmosfear, got myself the big ass radar & colected all fuel i saw, 16min later i landed on mars within the first try.

Would love to see an upgrade that decreases the amount of obstacles because all of these freaking planes are pissing me off

For the next game, you should make the world round. Maybe you could get a bonus for completing an orbit too. Congrats on the million+ plays :)

If this game has inspired you to consider a career in spacecraft design, please, *please*, PLEASE remember the following - 1) Aerobraking is your friend, parachutes can be a useful addition. 2) Perhaps a rocket is not the most appropriate vehicle for tasks requiring hovering in atmosphere. 3) While some may pooh-pooh the idea, there may be occasions when it is useful to equip your spacecraft with a cowcatcher. 4) Do NOT test your rockets maximum speed in atmosphere at 50ft over inhabited areas.
Most excellent launch game. The differing physics in different zones is perfect and quite challenging to get used to. Although it does start off slowly, the right combination of upgrades can give you a very powerful ship. Probably the best and most challenging launch game I've played. 5/5
Oh, and if you've ever wondered what it was like to drive a 1975 Mini with a 750cc engine and four adult passengers up a 1% incline... the first cargo mission.
