Scientist: "Ummm, sir? Our radars have picked up some unknown weather balloons in our airspace."
Chief: "Forget those weather balloons! I wanna know how the heck those blimps, airplanes and helicopters got in over our restricted airspace!"

For whatever reason Space Race IV is still locked although I have completed the other 29 missions & I have no idea why. Made it to mars & everything. Makes no sense cause it's not even the hardest race. What is this about?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Didn't NASA say there was so much space junk from abandoned satellites and shuttle parts orbiting earth? Guess this is the most realistic game ever.

Space Ace requires reaching 550000 feet without taking any damage along the way. If you take damage early in the flight, it doesn't matter if you reach Mars
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Also I have reached 1200mph at least a hundred times but the achievement doesn't register it. Is this a bug or do I have to do something else to get it?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
How do I reach 550000 feet for the Space Ace achievement? Is there something after Mars? Because I see no checkpoints after I reach it.

EASY MONEY: Buy booster and booster upgrades early. DON'T USE BOOSTER DURING FLIGHT! Wait for the head section to run out of fuel, then use the booster to slow your decent. If you do it right, the head section will land on the ground, damaged, but intact. Then, a counter will come up, going 1, 2, 3, END. When the counter shows 3, use the booster to get slightly off the ground, a tap of W/up will do it, and the counter will restart, allowing you to extend your "flight" time. Got 1.6k first time I tried this. Then, buy money and armor upgrades, since you get a money bonus for how much of the rocket is intact after landing.

Now on the 3rd one there HAS to be an eject button and you fall down with a parachute and try to get the the money pick-ups on the way down, good game though

the complete 30 missions achievement is bugged. I've completed all 30, and yet the achievement is still at 26/30, i thought it might be that i've bought some, but i've bought more that 4. Plus so devs can see this.

You CAN reach five digited attidutes easily with the power mode. It's only a matter of time. And, even in power mode, it IS possiple to finish your fuel. Mine is %90 now.

SketchSlayer: There is gravity everywhere except in a totally empty Universe. This can be proven by the fact that fat people will ALWAYS find a buffet, even in the cold depths of space.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
wdfq why this cargo is so heavy when body falls and i only my head lefts i fall down with thrusters and engine of the head??
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@SketchSlayer The rockets go into an orbit around the Earth. They are constantly falling, but they are going so fast that they get slung around the Earth instead of crashing into it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
O_O so there's gravity even when you reach space? how do real rockets not smash into the earth at a deadly speed then?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Just because I had problems with it, to complete the last cargo mission into space, I used: Mark-I Head Section, MK-V Body Section, MK-III-G Fins, MK-IV-FB Engines, MK-V Boosters, Radar-2, Cooling System, Gatherer, and Refueling.

Quite often on the Race or Info missions, when you get a waypoint / object the game will fail to locate the next one properly which is a bit annoying - makes me not want to do those missions.
Really enjoyable game though.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You can buy off missions in order to get the achievement. You just have to complete any mission after you have bought them in order for the achievement to update.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Boy oh boy, I thought increasing the speed is a good thing to reach mars but reaching a space gravity... I be damn; I ended up being a mashed potatoes with asteroids and all there~
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If you're having trouble finishing the last cargo mission, basically as long as you get the refuelling modification (fuel for your boosters) and the good radar you should be set. Just make sure you don't run out of booster fuel and pick up as many fuel tins along the way as you can. It would probably also help to get the ship parts that reduce weight (get a weak nose because you don't need nose power) as they will make it faster.

There's a lot I like about this game, but the missions feel badly designed. I need equipment I get much later to stand a chance of beating most of them, and it pushes me to just buy the missions off rather than completing them. It's not about difficulty, but when I try some of the race missions I simply don't have enough fuel to beat them.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Grind until you get all achivements so you get the Power Mode. (unlimited fuel and indestructable) After that yer old Grand Ma can finish all the missions since you don´t have to care about fuel or health.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
you have to hate it wen you run out of fuel for the main rocket and your being transferrred to the nose, and theres a helicopter right there and as soon as the nose pops off it smashes into the chopper

Good game, but some flaws that bug me. First missions are too reptative cut them down alittle ,or change them up some. I dont know why, but for me it seems like it is sometimes a hassle to get out of the first part even with the upgrades, compared to other types of launch game. Still I am loving the game it is a solid 4/5 and could be a 5/5.

I can't believe Earth's gravitational pull is so strong. I was in space and Mars was less then a mile away but I ran out of fuel and fell all the way back to Earth. Then again I saw some guy parachute from space on TV earlier today, so maybe that's just how it works. GO EARTH!!!!!!!!
