3/5 rating, auto-scroll every time you go to click on buildings, lag doesn't help one bit! - Buildings can only be placed in set placements, no good for you OCD gamers...
Tips: Put heavy/slow units at frontline, so when both armies clash, your heavies arrive just behind your fast troops. This gives them the ability to actually be involved in the fight...
If you like this type of gameplay I'd recommend playing either The Imperium or Age of War.

...this is frustrating..would this game be better..if you can click on the mouse..and then ..grab it..and go where you want?

So, wait a minute, you lose ONCE, and the game is over? That makes no sense. Why not allow for rebuilding, making your armies stronger for the next battle? SOMETHING! But for the game to just be over? 2/5 for that! This game actually had the potential prior to that, of being like Caesar II, a game I HIGHLY miss, but even in that game, if you lose a battle, you still continue on with building your city, and rebuilding your army!

OK, I'm just curious to know why, as my tech points build up, the little arrow says it's going down? Doesn't make much sense that tech points in fact, go up, but the red arrow tries to say it's decreasing. Also the scrolling lag is quite irritating. It would make things a lot easier if you could "grab" and move with the mouse.

For the second age i think it defeats the purpose of the saying, "Rome was never built in a day." because all it took for me was 1 day to do it in age 2...overall i give it a 5/5 for POTENTIAL ONLY!!!!!

It would be fantastic if it didn't randomly delete all my gold and set it on "-9000", so I had to make it all back. It would be fantastic as well if my civilian population hadn't gotten randomly stuck on -87, which stayed the same no matter how much I deleted.

Civilians are infinite. Use population up on building and units, then sell the houses when you are out of population. You can then rebuild them to regain more population. I think this was a result of lazy programming, which is a trademark of this developer (along with good nice for his games).

Building and Resources:Great.A little bit complicated. Combat system:Quite crappy but hey, that's just what I think. I'll give 3/5 for those

you have the base of a truly great game. If you give more ages and better gameplay(also the scrolling drives me crazy) you could get out on the front page. Multiplayer could make this better. For now i give it a 3/5

Although promising, this game needs a many more changes. A few suggestions such as: Population growth?
Harder enemies; no challenge?
The ability for you took attack an enemy, rather than them attacking you?
A map for you to chose where to expand, showing enemies, natural resources, etc. etc.
Only allowing farms to be built next to rivers?
Higher quarry resources? (This was my main annoyance; I had to build like 8-10 quarries in the start to build the whole base before the enemies came)
Better battle "tatics" and "strategy"?
More info. More strategy.
Anyways, although I might sound a bit too critical, this game seems very promising, and I hope the creator will keep on patching this game, or at least make a sequel.

You need to be able to get all the citizens you put into buildings back when you sell them otherwise you have a bunch of useless houses and wasted resources.

oh forgot to mention that despite my comments I did enjoy it though XD. and gj on the different ages. only time i felt i got shafter was when you had perseus (or w.e the greek hero was called) lookalike infantry in the next level. I was kinda expecting units from the roman legion but i got a greek army with whose mythological heroes i just fought. it just seemed like a step down for me. but other than that i found it a pretty fun game XD.

some info on the units before you make them would be nice, eg dmg speed range health and the cost. Its trial and error to figure out what you've got. also i would disallow carrying resources over from your previous map. i had 150,000+ gold 15,000+ materials and 300,000+ food plus at the start of each map except for the first one. this made the game quite easy. for the rest the game is pretty good. i dont like the way combat works but that's just me. it doesn't pull away that it works. also i liked the music on the last level XD. and as bert1432 mentioned, get rid of the mousescrolling. scrollin down every time you want to build (and you build quite a lot) i really really really annoying. also back to main menu at end didnt work for me. but maybe that was just me.

Umm good first try I guess...but I'm wondering what's the point of the already off tech point building? Not even sure why you would want to turn it off in the first place, much less having it already off. I was wondering why I wasn't getting any tech points after building it...

UGH I am sick of that stupid mouse scrolling -_- I go to click on one of my buildings! and then it starts scrolling it's really starting to get on my nerves! please do something about this.

It's a good start, but a few changes could make this game great. Have a set starting allowance of resources(like tech points) for each 'age'. Work a bit on the maps, square grids are alot more user-friendly than set placements. Add the ability to spy on the enemy so you know, 2 turns ahead, that you are going to be attacked, possibly upgrade this to even see their army. Rewards for winning battles would be good, added tech points or resources. add max Resources, and warehouses to increase max! Upgrades for houses would be good. increasing tech points needed to advance, like 1)50 2)100 3)150 4)250 5)350 6)500.
I'm gonna give it a 4 because of the mass potential!
