This game is basically an enormous step backwards from the first. Imperium 1 was a game I could play for hours and hours on end. But this? It's as if it were a whole different game. My advice is to take everything from the first game and just add more stuff. Add more areas, more resources, more units, more empires. Heck, maybe even add in a form of communication between you and the other empires, rather than simply having the empires mindlessly attack each other because reasons. It would be nice seeing something like alliances or trading between empires. But honestly, one of the most important things? Make sure you actually know whether you are gaining resources per day, or losing them. Because in the first Imperium, there was a nice little red or green arrow that told you. In this? You basically have to guess. And that sucks. You can do better than this, I have faith in you. Just get the first and add to it, that's all you need to do

Sad when the first version of a game is better than the third. In what world does not having a page somewhere that tells you how much positive production of resources you have in an area make the game better or even make sense? Idk about the other things people mentioned but this game is a step backwards from the original in almost every way. My advice - take your files for this game and press delete, then work on making the original game better than it was.

Well I loved Imperium I, almost hated Imperium II, and Imperium III? Well wont even take the time to play it as I now play it 5seconds and I find the same bug as in Imperium II already.
Please don't copy paste everything exactly from your former game but at least get the bugs out first.

how to use bugs: you need 3 areas. click move, enter a letter in the units imput, after that both areas have NaN units. now click move again and select the 3th area, enter any number u want in the imput and the 3th area will have it

Er...and as the link mentions, you might want to check any comments below the threshhold. They MIGHT contain warnings or tips from other players that, again, cheatsydoodles might have spam-hammered the downvote button with lots of alt acounts.
Then again, it could also be spam...

And to answer your questions about how this garbage made front page with a "5/5 Stars" rating, JanusJamesGames has a link to how we think this dev is cheating the system. I highly recommend assisting to shut this down before kong's playerbase is completely ruined by this trash being shown and called "Kong's best". New players will be non-existent, we'll lose old players, developers will be shamed to upload here, and it'll attract more games of it's type.

The title "Imperium 3" and the excellent graphics of the picture drew me in, as a fan of the original Imperium. But...uh...this would more accurately be described as "Imperium 0.3", as it feels like a downgrade in every possible way to the original Imperium. I have to wonder if something happened with the Imperium title akin to what happened to the Age of War series. To fill you all in, a genius game dev that I truely look up to built Age of War as one of his first games, but made the mistake of releasing it on Maxgames. Long story short, the fine print turned out to be re-worded to actually give maxgames ownership of the Age of War series. Now that dev is still around, especially on Armor Games, and he still makes awesome games, but I fear something similar may have happened with Imperium. It's a pity, I was hoping to one day see a better Imperium, but it looks like we're not going to see that day.

The idea of the game is not that bad but micromanagement of every separate grid makes this game extremely frustrating. If all cities had one common stockpile of resources, things would have been better, otherwise this is unplayable.

Sad excuse of a game. You'd think maybe thegames8 would make a new game that isn't a reskin of an old game? Maybe a fun game? No? Oh that's right their bot-net votes this game 5 stars within the first few hours of release and then proceeds to downvote all critical comments of the game, effectively censoring all poor reviews of this game. How dare you call yourselves a games studio. Shame on you.

Why on earth does this have a 4* rating? It's awful. Music unmutable and very repetitive, tutorial obscures the game screen, cheap graphics, poor mechanic.

If anyone is wondering why this is on the front page and had a 4.0 rating then it is because belugerin/thegames8 are notorious for using fake accounts to rate their games up. This usually happens at night/early morning. They will also use bots to rate down comments that mention these facts. Please share your opinion on thegames8/belugerin on the Kongregate thread devoted to them:

The building descriptions should upgrade with the actual building upgrade themselves. It seems odd to see a lv 3 of any building has the exact same description and resource production as lv 1 buildings.

Tutorial says "You need to click on market (pointy spear)." But I get an error message saying I need more workers. But I can't get workers because I'm still in the tutorial. I can't play this game.
