Small guide to hard badge: play for a while to learn the attack patterns of the bosses and raise your starting money to like 2k. Start with a ship upgrade and both +3 and +4 loot. By 1st boss you can get another ship upgrade and a +2 weapon (no more is required). When 2nd boss come, you can probably replace +3 loot for the highest pirate flag. For the last boss, you can have another ship upgrade, replace +2 weapon to +4 weapon, and get 3rd pirate flag. After it, you can have the last ship upgrade, then replace +4 loot to +4 fire rate and buy 2nd pirate flag. You ship will be powerful, just flee when you are surrounded, few enemies are no match for you. After defeating the last boss for like +2x, you should have enough score for hard badge. Give it a + ;O)

I can't seem to get the Lachhh award, even when I click off screen, the game keeps playing for some reason. I have gotten the medal in the past but this time it is not working.

I think those are loan sharks, that explains them having some money. Good thing you won't have to repay the debt though.

I beat the third boss! yes! and then it comes back and sends out a wave of bullets which kill me because i was hovering by it for money XD

To get the medal "Get free gold from Lach the pirate" All you have to do is pause the screen and wait a few minutes, then some guy (I assume the devs) Pic pops up and says if you play again he will give you free gold. Please Up Vote so everyone sees this! Thanks!

There's a glitch whenever you buy something from the shop. When you buy the level 4 loot, it shifts the cursor to level 4 flag, even if you already have one. Because of this, you can get 4 level 4 flags and a level 3 weapon to max out your ship.

This is one of those games where I inexplicably start getting worse as I play longer and start constantly taking damage at moronic times. I blame it on repetitiveness- after my fifth run I kind of stop paying attention.

Tip: Upgrade your Loot and Magnet! It will help you level faster in the end. Then worry about your Weapons. Finally, when you start off with 2k+, Start with the most expensive Flag and then do your Loot/Magnet upgrades, then finally your Weapons. + So that others will see this please.

To get the free gold from Lachhh the pirate you need to click off the flash player screen. The game will pause and Lachhh the pirate will start harassing you. When Lachhh tells you that he'll give you free gold if you come back click on the screen again. Hope this helps!

Simple game that I really enjoyed. 5/5 hint- purchase highest level of loot/magnet asap then speed. Sell loot and buy attack for the final boss.

Managed to get through most of the final boss on my second run through some ridiculous luck, and have yet to get even close to that far again. 10/10 great game

I beat Thunder the final boss, with one hitpoint left on me, as he was blowing up, the last line of his bullets blew me to shreds. My status stands at 99% complete now. FML

Am I the only one that thinks it's weird that more cannons increases your weapon power while better bombs increases fire rate?

For the hard badge, max your loot and magnet (i.e. the 3rd and 4th upgrade of looting) at the beginning to get more money; then increase your speed. Make your self as weak as possible, dont upgrade your attack or fire rate. Use the increased speed to dodge enemies' attack, try to hit the enemies with higher hp (e.g. the blue shark and the small boat), in this way you are harder to kill enemies and your "boss arrival" bar fills slower, this means you have more time to see the treasure box, more treasure box = more money = more score. In conclusion: avoid killing enemies and always hit treasure box. Only upgrade your attack if you think there are too much enemies and bullets that you cant handle them anymore. Later sell the 3rd upgrade of looting to buy other upgrades. My final upgrades were 4th weapon, 4th fire rate, no speed upgrade, 4th looting, 3rd and 4th flags. I earned the hard badge in this way, hope it helps :)

HARD ACHIEVEMENT GUIDE:
1. Get to 3350 starting money.
2. Buy first Ship's Level, max level Pirate Flag, max level Loot Chest.
3. Try to move around so you kill a lot of enemies and collect money. Reach as many Chests as possible, but avoiding getting hit should take priority.
4. When you have enough money buy Ship's Level 2 and max level Weapon.
5. Now you get to the 2nd boss. Stay far away and avoid spinning orbs, then focus in on the boss.
6. Get Ship's Level 3 and max level Fire Rate.
7. You should be able to beat the final (storm) boss without getting hit more than 2 or 3 times. Just spin at the same speed that it does, so you're far away from his projectiles.
8. Fully upgrade your ship.
9. Try not to get cornered by the large ships. Don't kill them when there are a lot of other ships around, it's better to just evade. Collect as many Chests as possible.
10. Beat final boss 2nd time and you should have 30 000+ score.

5 Staaarrrws! Aye thou will need to upgrade cannons and ship to min 2k to stand a chance against the final boss (that bargain wont drop any valuable coins, such a poor dog on deck)
