LOL my main guy lost an arm during the battle, but we won and decided to kill the defeated opponents. So he jumped up and punched to death each of the three, through their thick metal helmets? Lulz he's superman

games badass, but it needs a naming feature just to name your slaves or if u dont like your old name. I mean who wants a name like Bourgan??? u should also be able to get legendary heros from greek methology like Hercules or probaly Achilles, or even Theseus. I mean, if u want slaves, dont u want them to be like real heroes????

There may be a bug in the goal in Tarsus about winning without losing a gladiator. I have done it several times and I don't achieve the goal. Unless I'm doing something wrong...

The slave price progression is extreme, an average slave is hundreds of times more expensive than the most expensive item for the later cities. Even if I add up all the gold I have made since the start of the game, I still come well short of affording a slave in Rome.

A great gam-but needs to how better stats before fights, off blood for less lag. Also it could use stats on each player glad. to see how many kills, and other things they have done.

Should be a new skill tree like a beast master.... Or something of that area where you could use a tiger.... Or another animal which was used in coliseums could be interesting...

Overall I enjoy this game, it feels like a dumbed down version of Gladius (the xbox/gamecube game), which is no a bad thing considering Gladius has too much detail for a flash game. I have a few complaints as do most people such as the level gap being to large (normally I have to fight teams that are 20 levels higher because I don't want to grind), over priced units (I can't afford any more so I am basically stuck with the 3 I began with), and the uselessness of soldiers after losing limbs (an arm is okay, but if the leg is gone they are lucky to have one usable skill). If you could balance the prices and exp a bit more and add some more skills I think the game would even out to a much better experience.

I've reached the 4th city and I've had no trouble at all reaching this point so far, and have more money than I need, only thing that's limiting me is waiting for more good items in the shop ( have 16k, most expensive items are about 2k). In contrast, I need to spend over 155k to get a level 20 slave? Uh, I really hope that gets balanced. Other than that, it gets easy after you get basic armor on your guys and just becomes a grindfest. Gets boring when all you need to do is spam armor break and strong attacks to the head or body (if you rip off their limbs watch them take forever to bleed out). There needs to be a rebalancing for body part hp/armor because I would rather not go through 2 sets of armor to kill them through limbs as opposed to a KO if I just go for the head.

Outstanding game! I truly think that this is a masterpiece in the name of flash games. I played for months and I continue to play. Great job Berserk!

Maybe hitting your opponents in certain areas should actually effect how well they can fight back. Hitting them in the head should reduce dexterity (Might not be so easy to hit your targets when your opponent is beating the sense out of you), hitting the legs should reduce speed, and hitting the arms should reduce strength and defense. Also, the strength and accuracy of the throw should be halved when your opponent takes out one of your legs.

awesome job guys but only 1 thing,i hope that u make metal awards in multiplayer like if u killed 10 teams on a row lower than ur rank u get bronze,teams from ur rank silver and higher rank teams gold.
that would make it one of the best games

@Karma Cat putting points into combo x2 makes you deal more damage with the choosen skill but yes, the info would be nice.

I think it would make sense for any slaves that are in the 'school' to gradually level up every battle as they should be training or learning with or without being in battle, just a suggestion as its tedious levelling up every single character

why sands of the coliseum in facebook has more features -.- such as daily rewards and multiplayer quest. why dont you add those features in kongregate too becuz there are more active players in kongregate than facebook

I'd love a change to the block mechanic. As it stands now the best team is overwhelmingly spear+shield, points into throw and bash. If you gain the buff from shield bash it should lose a stack with every attack. It'd make dual wielding actually useful and keep shields more in line with other setups.

Suggestions:
1) Balance skills, some are incredibly useful (armor break) and others are near useless as are.
2) Revisit gear bonuses. +hp/mp shouldn't have the same # boost as core stats do.
3) Metal bars need a repeatable way to be earned. It can be time consuming or hard, to keep people buying, but should be possible.
4) Slave prices need fixed or stats and skills need a way be reset, as it is trying different builds is not an option. Also exp for those in school would make leveling a whole team more feasible. 5) +1 to things mentioned about exp bonus for higher mobs, AI fixes/options, graphic options, and blocking/shield durability.

sorry to say this, but the AI is a little bit dumb. my auto gladiators used armor break but the enemy have 14 armor left and it could have dealt 132 damage with a strong attack but it dealt 14 armor damage only. a little bit shocked by that.

I'm surprised by how people can hack in multiplayer. Pretty much all the hack websites I visit to see how people hack say that they can't hack Multiplayer because its a "Premium Item" in the game. So how do hackers...well... HACK in Multiplayer?

Finally, a Swords & Sandals game that wasn't developed by inbred teenagers. Best feature: This game doesn't take up all of your RAM because of easy-to-fix memory leaks. It's amazing how rare decent programming, not even good, but just decent, is in the light game industry.

Just wondering how it is possible that I had 3 lvl 55 guys and got absolutley obliterated by 3 lvl 20 guys in multiplayer. I didn't think it was possible to hack this game... Sigh....

My main complaint with the game is the blacksmith. I hate how a item is made at random. Every single time I have used the blacksmith, I have been given crappy weapons and armor. This has to be fixed.

Alright, pardon me if I repeat something here, but I have a few thoughts on this game. The option to turn off blood would be nice, or simply just the finisher scenes. Also, like BowWow200 said, an AI choice or variance for different styles. My characters never seem to use "Crowd Appeal" when they need MP, and instead revert to all common strikes.
Some of the armor pieces also have... Visual bugs... They don't match skintone, or seem to even try. A black guy wears the arm pieces that look like belts, his arm suddenly turns white, from shoulder to wrist.
Also, for peak level slaves it would be interesting if you could pull a D&D act and "Reroll" them with a few more starter points than normal, but a slightly slower level gain...
And maybe a Hardcore mode... Where if a slave is executed they do not come back.
