Bug: I just listened to the cocooned person tell me to let the yellow into my soul, and the six yellow floaters were surrounding me. I was able to shoot and kill one, but I otherwise couldn't move. Then, after killing one, the character performed the "picking up my gun after a vision" action and I killed the rest of the floaters. There was an extra shot from my weapon appearing from the top left and coming down into the screen. Then my guy froze in mid-jump. The floater sound keeps looping with the music playing normally. The guy's weapon firing graphic is also frozen in place. I can turn from side to side and when I push space I hear the weapon fire audio, but that's pretty much the end of the game for me.

My health was running low, I killed something and suddenly my health jumped to full. A minute later I killed something else and leveled-up and suddenly my health dropped back down to low again. I'm having a hard time understanding the whole health bar system here.

I liked the game overall, just a few things: how do you earn stars for levels? What are the "cultists" I have to kill for the achievement? What is the point of the "speed run" armor? It doesn't really seem to be necessary to progress like the "jump" armor, and it actually makes it harder to land on platforms. And out of curiosity, what was the original ending?

Nice game, the new ending is better than the old one, but it still sucks,---SPOILER--- Sergei wasnt supposed to die---SPOILER---

The graphics are far too cartoony for this game to be called a 'horror'. I'd rather the final boss itself presented the challenge as opposed to trying to stay on the platforms

Very nice game , good graphics ,good music , good scenario ,good atmosphere .
But very easy , in particular the bosses and structure of levels is cool and different for each level but not original .
4/5

I have to say that is probably one of the best flash games I have ever played. Excellent game play, graphics and story. The story reminded me of a cross between Event Horizon and Warhammer 40k. A huge amount of effort went into this game and it shows.
I'm surprised by all of the negative/semi-negative comments about the ending etc when the whole point of a game is having fun playing it and the ending is just a reward at the end of the game not the game itself. I don't think I saw the original ending but I loved the ending that I got.
I applaud your effort and can't wait to see what you do in the future. Keep up the good work.

I really like Event Horizon, that nice sci-horror of early 2000's. The plot? An experimental FTL "teleporter" ship teleports to another dimension... that turns out to be hell. And then it comes back... So dare I say, this story is a little familliar. - On a gameplay side, the game is nicely drawn, but it seem to not decide whether it's a survival horror (barely, considering how easily creeps go down and how tough is the hero) or a pretty straight platformer (again barely, cuz there simply aren't enough dudes to shoot at). Besides, there isn't enough variety in your arsenal: one gun, one mode of fire (and that you cannot shoot up is a real bugger, considering about a third of enemies fly!) Overall, a 4/5. I'd suggest authors to make the abovementioned choice more clearly next time. P.S. And I wouldn't want to sound too puritan, but the amounts of vaginal theme almost made me vomit. Honestly, there are better sorts of "disturbing" even when you want it.

This is amazingly scary for an online game.Make a company and put a bigger version on a disc and you could make a lot of money.

Pros: good artwork, fast paced gameplay.
Cons: My main issues with the game are that it's a platform shooter where enemies can come at you from all directions. However, you cannot shoot upwards or diagonally, making some fights simply inconvenient and worth evading.
Here's a spoiler on killing the butterfly boss: camp this spot and you won't get hit by most of his attacks, but not all of them. Only the attack where he moves across the screen will hit you and you should be able to survive (though it rarely uses it), but remember to fix your position after taking damage:

The game has many things going for it, including some epic jump scares and enjoyable gameplay. However, it also lags at inopportune moments (like when you pick up a keycard or item), has very poor grammar in certain sections (the logs you read) and the new ending makes no sense. The guy's in a sealed suit for the entire game, and he gets infected by mind control, which causes him to give birth to an alien creature?
Anyway, I really enjoyed it. 4/5.

Fairly decent game. I actually liked the ending.
Anyway there's a pretty bad bug in the game at the end. If you kill the boss and then jump off the screen it just loops the boss intro. Also I picked up the spread gun but it didn't activate nor appear in my inventory (or get the achievement). When I re-did the level it no longer appears either so I can't get it at all. The final boss isn't difficult, the hardest part is jumping onto the platforms when it zooms out.

and the ship is built so that you can't get back to places you already were at... who builds a ship like this? How do the people get around?

how the hell do you know if you have a star? and how do you get 1? i finished the 1st level in 48 seconds and the stars are still empty? or am i just color blind?

I read through several comments. I didn't see anyone mention the several spelling/grammar errors in the end scene (e.g. "where" instead of "were"). No-brainer game to play. The messages in the computer consoles were creative. Bosses were super-simple, then the end boss was crazy hard just because of the speed-suit. Maybe put that pyramid from level 2 or 3 (near the jump-suit pickup) instead of the hanging platforms for the end boss.

It's pretty much a rip off of Dead Space but no weapon upgrades and no originality...seriously? The visions, the sight of dead comrades, the possession? the organic like monsters? Durr~
If you wanted this to be scary then you don't have enough scare moments like things falling outta walls or a big freaky monster that bursts through a wall or something...play more Dead Space and try again.

It was fun, and the atmosphere was good (amazing for a flash game, really), but the bosses were far to easy and there could have been more items to gain... for instance, a weapon that changes your fire spread instead of just upping damage. Or grenades, or missiles or something like that. It reminded me of Metroid... 4/5

I dont see a need for all these complaints. thats a krunk game! to solve many of the complaints im reading all you need to do is add another higher difficulty choice, same intense game with an intense challenge to go along with it.
i give it 4/5 stars, if it was longer or had the difficulty levels you woulda got the 5

Beautiful game...I liked the eerie feeling throughout the whole thing, but I think that the whole rapid-face picture thing near the middle was a bit much...kinda silly. The strangest thing is that for me, the scariest sound was that of the jetpack...dunno why ¯\\(°_o)/¯

Hate to say this, decent game, the 'badguys in the body' thing is getting kinda worn out in general (RE, Dead Space), good flash, but several bugs. Re-entering level 3 after getting 4 stars on 2 made the camera go crazy (Reloaded, worked fine), dash boosting to level 4's creepy mind thing caused a glitch that disabled the weapon. About to reload again.

It was an ok game and everthing, reminds me of dead space though :) but the one thing i hated was the boss at the ending because he would just blow you off the platform. another thing i don't understand is the inventory.... what are you supposed to do with it anyways? Other than that this game is good and i give it a 4/5. XD

I give 5/5 even though there are some bad things about the game. For example, there is no real RPG at all, just leveling, which was quite misleading. But still I liked it, the nightmares were kinda good and I like the whole idea.

Not a bad game, the most voted responses are all people saying the game wasn't great, and I have to say I agree with what some of what they're saying. The graphics are fine, but you could just run in a straight line shooting and not get hit for most of the game. The bosses were to easy except for the last one. The "Secrets" were not very hidden, although on the brighter side, I liked the story.

"F*cking Scientists. Pompous, useless pricks with a degree, every single one of them."
Maybe it's a poor idea to make a sci-fi game that is anti science. Just my opinion. If I wanted to hear lines like this, I'd listen to ICP. lol "f*cking magnets?!"

The one thing I completely hate about this game, the boss fights. They are either so easy that one could stand in place and hold the mouse 1 button (every boss besides the last) or is so ridiculously difficult that it takes one nearly half an hour to beat it. Advice on Bossbattle zone creation, if you are going to have roughly 40% of the arena be a gap that leas to an instant death, dont have the boss's number 1 spammy attack (the yellow lazor that odly resembles hyper beam) render your jet pack useless.
