Under rating threshold (show) Really nice game - owes a lot to Dynamic Systems doesn't it? - You should do something about the controls. Namely rotating objects is almost impossibe. Bigger symbols would already help a lot.

Under rating threshold (show) It's ok, but it's too easy. It's like the developer created some cool Rube Goldberg machines, and just wants people to fill in the last missing piece. It looks nice though, and it's fairly fun. It goes on for ages... how many levels are there?!

Under rating threshold (show) Normally, I would not complete a game like this all the way through, but this one was different. The puzzles were challenging, but not too challenging to make me lose interest in completing them so I can see the next. Simple game, and while the concept is unoriginal, the puzzle design is epic. 5/5

Under rating threshold (show) Quinn's Review: Missing Mechanism seems like Yet Another Physics Puzzler (TM) but it has a few elements that mark it out as worth your attention. Firstly, I really rate the music, which is just a bit 'alien' and enjoyable (but it could use a bit of changing up as you're going to be listening to it for a fair old while). As the most excellent Castef points out, the slightly hazy 16 bit graphics are really reminiscent of old Amiga games, which, combined with the preponderance of brown and yellow makes this game feel far more retro than it is. Unlike most phys games you have 100% freedom: you can place your blocks at literally any pixel and can rotate them any degree for a fine level of control. This can make some levels a real challenge as you try to minutely balance all the elements. The physics is good, but the game is quite difficult - I couldn't get very far, but don't let that discourage you. This is a real thinker's game.

Under rating threshold (show) You need to allow illegal placements at least temporarily so that I can get a piece into place.

Under rating threshold (show) It's a good design but some in some levels are parts that I didn't need to solve them. 5 of 5

Under rating threshold (show) First, i like the 16bit style graphics. Very "Amigaish". Second, I feel like I've played this 34829 times before. Not very original, I'd say. Third: the level design is actually good. Fourth: difficulty level seems a bit on the high side. Few "tutorial" levels and then you are thrown in very difficult contraptions. For me, this is a good thing. I'd give the game 4 out of 5.
