i managed to beat every level on medium difficulty with the exception of level 36, which i completed on easy.
The game itself is fun and challenging, even when you get punished severely for making a single mistake.
5/5, would lose 2 starbases, 1 stargate and 6 planets to the dark ones again.

On the last level, if you capture all of the lasers and divide your ships equally among them, you can let it autoplay indefinitely. The lasers destroy enemy ships almost as fast as they are created.

Little tip for the final mission, as cruel as it sounds let the darkness consume your foes and focus on the Gates and the shipyard, else you'll spend more time on fending off the darkness, all four allow you to capture and fend off as you need.

for everyone saying stuff about the game the dev(s) quit and sold it or something the current owner is not the developer

What has happened with this studio? The game was removed from Steam Greenlight, from Google Play, two websites are down. I feel sorry, because this game was great and with huge potential.

This game needs instructions, what is the red circle around the planet and why mine takes longer than the AI to surround the planet??

For the last level I just took out all of the yellow, then moved all my troops to the teleporter, and finally launched an all out attack on black's base.

I really would love to play it in cinema mode again. (don´t know, is this the right word?)
Or at least plant a warning somewhere that it is not possible.

I love this game! I want a sequel where you can pick and choose your race/color who have traits like defenders bonus or when moving units to any allied world they instantly teleport there. Also RPG elements where you can learn new talents and abilities and level up your factions units/planets unit production, speed of your units how fast they move and how powerful they are in combat. Also a co-op mode where you and a friend can occupy the same planets and work together as well as a VS mode possibly.

I really love this game! Awesome music and its just catchy. Every few weeks i come back and play again and again and again and...
Only one thing bothers me, it dont work properly anymore when you switch to the bigger screen. Thats really really annoying.

The game froze in the middle of level 36 four times now. Honestly, I'm mad at myself for putting in so much time trying over and over more than anything.

108 stars. Was fun.
If you have trouble with some level, make sure the speed is low. The larger the orbiting fleet, the faster it conquers planets or destroys enemy fleets. Never charge through multiple laser forts. Gating to enemy fort or space station avoids laser fire. If you see an enemy fleet moving towards something you wish to keep, make sure you have enough ships there before they arrive. Stargates are fast and the key to deploying your fleet to block enemies.

This game is great, but I think the dark force element is too aggressive. I get the AI being aggressive in general, but once the dark force enters and you have low resources you can hardly fight back.

Now on level 36 but man it's unfair, those dark forces just crush everything. Their faster spawn rate, speed and what not makes it almost impossible. They control the entire center of the map with 6 lasers orbiting their core

wthell with the dark forces in 33 they move extra fast extra unities at my first run they didnt spawn but now they keep spawning

i did it for the space, but this game REALLY doesn't like my comp. neat game though. thanks for the Gurren Lagann reference.

This game was awesome, i love these army spawner games. The game had the bonus of some pretty lights to watch, and had the rare addition of a interesting enemy, *SPOILERS*, the black lights which caught me off guard and i liked the ending,

Not my kind of game, but if you are interested in it, read the kongregate instructions, because it's not explained well in-game. one thing I didn't get at all was that "percentage meter"- that's how many of the guys you're moving. so you don't have to move ALL the guys from one planet and leave it completely defenseless, you can press 5 first to send 50% of them, 4 to send 40%, etc.

WTF?
What sort of game designer chooses to map ESC to EXIT THE BLOODY LEVEL AND LOSE ALL PROGRESS?
Seriously, in literally EVERY other game, ESC pauses the game, not quits it entirely!
Thanks for making me lose an almost finished difficult level that I'd been on for nearly 10 minutes!
Dropped from a 5 star game to a 4 star for that, such a bad design flaw!
