it seem that when i try to discover a civilization after zebra (while not being scientific enough) , it require 1000 catpower to explore, but only consume 100. is that normal ?

Electrolytic smelting upgrade MAY have only increased iron/coal production, gold production did not increase, - wood and mineral /sec also DID NOT decrease. MAY not be right but do check it:)

OMG. For the love of god, please put gear, ships and blueprint in three separate lines a bit under under the rest of the workshop craft actions. I can't count the times I accidentally made a bunch of blueprints while waiting for compendiums. Just now I made 5 ships and wasted the scaffolds I needed for the next observatory :(

Kit-ten's Log Date 25th of Spring Year 25 Harvested 3 hair balls this year and that's all the Balls of Yarn gave me. I also added a mine and a library.

I made my first winter without any kittens lost. If you are quick you can unlock archiculture before winter comes.
Also mile wros. Later you will unlock the mint. It turns catpower and gold into furs and ivory.

you should put a building that when you turn it on automatically sends out hunter when catpower is full, or at timed intervals

Autumn day 56, mouse slipped, accidentally bought 10 new fields, food is low.
Winter day 30, food is scarce. Kittens are beginning to worry.
Winter day 67, PLEASE. DON'T. STARVE.

could you please include the kitten's consumption-rate in the hut's tooltip with the per-tick setting? (IE: have it say .8/tick when per-tick values is selected)

spartanianMC you can click on village at the top and move some kittens to farming that should get you through the first few winters if you don't spent the 'nip wildly before that. After that storage has been sufficient with 1 farmer through day 105 for me.

Well SpartanianMC on my first playthrough I have never lost a kitten, but I did not let it idle, micromanaging each season.

At this point I'm convinced that the first few winters are gonna do nothing but kill all but one of my kittens, no matter how much catnip I have or how much I click.

25th of Spring Year 22 This past year I learned about workshops though I don't have enough minerals to make one yet I did add 2 mines.

Please give me an option to instantly kill a kitten... I was stuck at 3 kittens with a 0.25 negative catnip generation. Kitten won't starve, I can't produce until kitten dies.

pimhazeveld: ahh, duh, that worked, thanks! No idea about your coal thing though. The "Coal Furnace" upgrade is only supposed to be available after steel if I recall...

Uhh...? I'm not seeing the option to build a Ziggurat. (I've reset 3 times, have 16 karma and 110 paragon, and am about to research Physics, if any of those are a factor). The wiki says it's supposed to unlock after construction but I did that ages ago. Refreshed and still no dice. Anybody know what's going on? Do I really have to wait until I reset again?
