This game is rubbish. i was doing my third race but i used up all my nitro boosts and my car just stopped. everyone else finished but i couldm't move!! there is no obvious way to quit the race and the sound control is retarded. you should be able to control music and sound seperatly. 1/5. terrible...

Changed my mind about the difficulty. I won a championship and won every race except for two of them. Second season so far and leading after three races.

If you could change your kart colours and the engineering stuff would be a bit easier it'd be 5/5. Overall, great game, seriously had some fun with it. 4/5!

I honestly have no idea how to play this game. I'm dumping money into R+D, and getting nothing back. No one wants to sponsor me because my driver sucks and can't place higher than 6th. I have no idea how to use the info he gives me.

I had Alonso as my driver, who was picked at random in my second season. Now towards the end of the season I was told to sign a new driver. Unfortunately my chassis development was only at 3 stars, when I required 4 to sign Alonso again. Then before the next race, I had a 4 star future chassis, so I went to sign the driver and the option was greyed out. Now I'm stuck with the worst driver on the grid because it picked randomly again.

I played this game on two other sites and can't get my chassis to 5 stars. I built up about 2 million cash and then hired 100 engineers to work 18 hour days from week 10 through the next season to week 10 and only got 4 stars.
I also won 4 straight championships with Force China and never won the trophy.
AI seems to work great. They should be harder to beat in the later weeks though.
I love the game. It seems their isn't enough "plan view" racing style games like Off-Road. I'd like to see this game perfected. The track used in week 10 is superb.

hire mike schumacher as your driver, at the start of the year put 33 enginer to what u want, let that 2 weeks. then go for car cassis. hire mike schumacher for next year for $100 when u have 4 starts on car cassis, repeat

Lot of potential. Happy to read this is a kind of a demo. Some suggestions from me too. Even starting with force china the game is too easy. Needs more laps, tires NEVER get destroyed. And pit stops. With crew and fuel. And qualifications. You shouldn't be able to develop a component wich level is higher than chassis level. Add more research levels. Like a cap of 20, with more tracks, more pilots and pilots growing and aging. Better if cars and pilots have original names. Better sponsor management, with more than one sponsor and the possibility to choose, with sponsor requirement like placement or championship winning. Rated 4/5 to push for a better one ;)

Great game but some improvement would be find
-setting salary with numpad, it's boring clicking 110 times to set alonso at 100$
-i find weird alonso accept a contract at 100$/race, should be a minimum.
-from a season to next, tour driver should improve if he stays or something like that^^
-Why not set an age to driver and progressively increase then decrease their skill?
that's only idea's because i'm in love of your game!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really fun concept! But as mentioned, it has little replay value. A few other notes: (1) Make an auto-save feature after each race. I keep thinking this game is auto-save and close without saving. (2) Let us see our lap times during/after a race for anyone who wants to beat the records. (3) Add more drivers; you could even have unlockable drivers for completing achievements. (5) Balance the R&D system. The best option is to hire as many engineers as possible, which doesn't really make full use of the adjustable wage. (6) Make sponsors more interesting. The amount of money they offer doesn't seem to vary as you gain fame, and even when I'm dominating the championship race they are uninterested in signing. You could have a primary sponsor who signs for an entire season and secondary sponsors who sign for a few races. Your main sponsor could also give you objectives to complete within the season for a contract bonus, with better sponsors giving out tougher tasks and higher rewards.

I always forget to accept the bets. I would like a popup to go up before each race asking about the bet.
There is the wrong tooltip for replacing chassis. I would like to see in the tooltips what replacing chassis and purchasing nitros costs.
And last: It is annoying that research resets competly. Maybe it should just get reduced.
Thanks for the bug reports / suggestions. This is really a tech demo of the racing AI to see whether people like this sort of game enough for us to invest lots more time and do a full featured Grand Prix manager game with improved research, multiple drivers per team and lots of other features that this one is missing. I'll get to work on the bugs you mentioned now
Thank you for your comments. This is a development game, pretty much a demo. We're going to keep developing the game engine. Things that will be in other versions of the game - Two drivers, pit stops, more tracks, f1 car management, nascar management, rally management and many more things to manage in the garage :)

not sure if it's a bug, but after researching chassis to lvl 4 I got Alonzo to sign up for 100 bucks per race. I'm sure He can appreciate my 733t car, but this is a bit silly :)

BUG: When a enemy cart is destroyed in the race, the race won't finish. They just drive around on low speed for ever...

The chassis performance / replace popup content is incorrect. Maybe also add something more obvious to which racer is yours? Overall nice and polished game.

So, you can go on for years and years in this game, but you'll actually never improve, as research is reset between each season? I sort of understand the reason for that, but you need to implement some other way to keep the game exciting then. In it's current state is decent to play through for one season (which doesn't take long), but then you've pretty much seen it all and there's nothing else to do. Cool idea, but definitely need a lot of work.
Thanks for the review Wowi - I take your points on board and this is really just a bit of a test of the AI engine with a very basic championship engine bolted on. We'll see how this goes and then add alongside research a 'driver aids' research set - Driver Aids would be able to be brought from season to season. Sometimes driver aids will be banned from being able to be used for a season (F-Duct?). Also two drivers with pitstops / refuelling / tyre strategy would also be in a sequel if people can see enough potential for a sequel in this game... Thanks again!
