Let me say that this game has alot of potential if you can get it tweaked right.I like it, and that's why I'm here bothering to pick it apart as much as I can.
Still though it doesn't seem possible to fully upgrade one stat on your car.I may be missing something, or you may have to add one race to a championship.

thanks for the feedback Heliarc - I'll try making some changes to the game and upload a new version soon. Perhaps making it so that new users can join mid championship will mean more championships get a chance to conclude. Thanks again

Ok now in online play, when the guy left, all my upgrades went back down and I had no money...How in the hell am I supposed to get one stat filled?

Playing offline, it is literally impossible to get one stat fully upgraded.Winning all the races I upgraded top speed but I was still short of the last upgrade by a few $100

Still, a new player is going to get money even if they come in last, and theres only so far that you can upgrade.The way I see it, there's no real big reason to erase the upgrades that we've earned.

We thought about doing this Heliarc but that would give an experienced user too much advantage over a new user at the start of the game.
The 'full game' will have leagues and rankings so users can create and play with their vehicles over the course of the whole game

Test Pilot is about creating and playing with your own vehicles but this is just a prototype for the multiplayer section in Test Pilot 2. Any feedback on the game is greatly appreciated

It's a little buggy in the online mode. After winning the Winter Series and the first race of the Summer Series, my two opponents both left the game. It then put me in one race, the first, with one of the old opponents and one new one and a car with no upgrades. I came in 2nd in that race, but it gave me the $1000 prize for winning the previous series. Then it started the Sand Series. There needs to be some mechanism for keeping the Championship going if your opponents leave. If everyone leaves once they get behind, no one will be able to finish a championship!
