Actually, I find spearmen to be a good unit. They are very good so long as you spam them in one group, then spam their ability in order to break their lines. Do it about twice and you should be all done.

best game ever. I need a sequel sometime maybe... next year or so, because back in the end of 2013 you said you'd make it sometime. so... yeah. well, anyways, I love this game to BITS! hue hue hue funny joke So I'd give this game a 8/10 it would be 9/10 if it were longer and the spearmen didn't suck so bad, So it's an overall great game that needs a little bit of tweaking. I hope this helped you, BoardingParty!

Why so easy? Once you get the mechanic of each character and know what skill you have to max out, it gets so easy it bores... Even though, I rated it 5/5 because it's awesome and perfectly simplistic, loved it!

I'm getting the strong feeling that if a bit more content, like aforementioned skill trees, this game would make an excellent online game. Maybe selectable unit types unlocked over time that each have unique abilities. Just a strange thought, and a great game! Hope to see more come from you guys. :D

I'm at the point when the Spearmen are literally useless. I only won the first battle I had with them, they're hideously underleveled, and... bleurgh.

I sincerely hope a sequel is coming soon. I don't know how many times I've played this game, but it's definitely in the high 40's, maybe low 50's. It's just so good. I gave it a 5/5 and I favourited it. I love the simplicity of the game, the ease of controls, the logical upgrades, just everything. I think the only things I would change for the sequel are having a choice between upgrading all three perks instead of two at a time, seeing how much money a wave will give you, giving a better storyline (why you're being invaded, who the invaders are, that sort of thing), and being a bit more specific on how you get mana back. That's really all I can think of, just some minor things. If you don't use these suggestions, the game is still absolutely amazing and I will continue to play it over and over, despite already knowing what will happen and how to win because, simply put, you've created a masterpiece, a work of gaming art. Thank you for this.

All you have to do to beat the game is put all three units on the first tower the first time round so that you can get a ton of the enemy waves down to the tower to defeat it. On the second time, put one or two of them there, depending on your success from the previous waves, and you'll beat the first tower. Now focus on the next tower, without letting the other one get too out of hand. Buy the bottom row of upgrades first because overall, they're better and you can be without the bombs until those ones are bought. I always went with upgrading the push on the spearmen as the priority, with one point going to attack and two to defense. For the knights, I had attack as priority, though I had three or four points for push as well. I didn't bother with defense since it was already at 3. For wizards, I almost completely went for attack, with one point in push. With a little perseverance, you can beat this game with relative ease.

so, this kindgom is attacked by the same enemies every 1000 days, and within those 1000 days, all the warriors completely forget their battles skills? seems legit xD

spamming push on wiz is really helpful, a round last like 20 sec, just spam units then use power twice to shoot all the wiz and boom win. att on warrior then repeat the above. but pusher dude up att and spam on a spot then mad rush power for quick dmg.

Good game, but if you lose a round and miss out on a level up for a character, it can really hinder your party and spiral into a quick loss, especially since the enemies continually get harder, even if you have a weak character or two. Awesome game, but more opportunity to recover for lost xp would make it great.

Incredible potential as a game. Excellent music, good graphics, superb controls and concept. Unfortunately, I feel as though it is a "bit" disappointing at the end. The "Boss" battle was just another typical battle, just against stronger opponents... I would have loved to see an actual boss, for example: Condense the walkway so that the boss fills up the entire path, keep the monster/boss powerful, something that would crush an army. Perhaps if the monster itself had a health bar and not just the whole wave? That way if the monster killed you, it would still maintain its damage ratio. Overall a wonderful game, but I still see room for improvement. Also, there wasn't really a storyline where I feel as though there could be one, but I digress. Simple games like this have their own unique joy and character to them, and I thoroughly enjoyed playing it. 4 stars.

this game makes no sense from a development perspective
if you lose with one army, they don;t level, putting you behind, but since enemy forces get stronger, while you fall further behind
