@Booblyccom: I meant something along the lines of stats. When I increase that red tower a level, what's it actually doing? With the yellow one, I see it increases range a bit, but can you show how much more damage upgrading does?

This is fun, well executed and the music sets up the mood well. It is somehow different from your typical TD game (side scrolling, fixed placement); this is refreshing. There are however a few issues: 1) user is not warned (by a sound) when an action cannot be executed (for instance, not enough money); 2) the way the actions appears (one by one above the tower), while nice at first, becomes quickly annoying; 3) actions always appear above the tower but htis area is not always visible (for instance, click a tower at the very top of the screen); 4) map should be navigable with arrow keys; 5) quality can't be adjusted (i didn't find the option) - for old hardware sake; 6) ingame help could be improve: for instance, description appear after you upgrade a tower (a simple tooltip would do it); 6) updgrading a skill should be a two click process: at least bring up a confirm popup. None of those issues are critical but their accumulation hurt the game a bit. A solid game though, 3/5. Thanks!

Last level:
Start to build on the middle floor (5 spots)
{}{steam1}{steam2}{steam3}{}, upgrade them into crit towers.
Add 2 more steams on this floor (eventually make rocket towers)
Fill other spots with Eye tower(don't upgrade them)
You will need stun spell for 4 invisible boss wave and 2 or 3 times Gain spell for tough waves.

What is the tower priority? I had a freeze tower ignore a near dead monster by my gate to hit a full hp monster near the beginning of the path. It should be set to the monster closest to the end by default, or at least let us adjust it for each tower.

This game is very challenging and I don't agree with people who think it should be rebalanced. Nobody could say this game is easy and I think that's why people are complaining. IF the towers were straight forward and balanced this game would be a lot easier than it is. The skills do next to nothing. SPOILER: Build 1 fire tower and 1 brown tower with eye towers around it in the best locations. Level up the eye towers to level 2. Level up the fire tower to a level 1 inferno and the brown to a level 1 critical. Fill the rest of the spaces with level 2 money towers. Always make sure you have 200 gold to cast gain. Ca-ching!

I am sorry, but I have to rate otherwise good game low. The handling of the game is awful, every time I click tower to upgrade it, the screen shifts. Most of the time away from the tower, so I have to scroll back and try again. And again.... Very frustrating...

level 3 money tower says it removes the special ability of the monster when it hits, and it works for some monsters.
it does not remove the ability of the slugs, they still turn invisible.

Fun game, but the screen almost always slides after I select a tower, making upgrading and selling time consuming and annoying. Click tower -> screen moves and upgrades can't be clicked. It's so bothersome that I'm not going to finish playing the game, even though I like it.

So...basically I bought all 3 towers just to read the info of each one. then I reloaded and bought the ones I really needed! you should really add the description beforehand!

I don't know if this should be considered a bug or something a little annoying. When I reached the last wave on the first stage, I opened the warning for the new type of enemy when the "Last wave" message was still visible, and I couldn't read the warning because the message staid in there. I had to exit from the warning so the "Last wave" message could fade away. Besides that, it's an excelente game.

Extremely erratic screen movements whenever I click on a tower. I'm using Chrome on a mac, if that helps. This game is awesome aside from that. It becomes very frustrating after a while.

You know what I absolutely love seeing? The amount of user input actually being acknowledged. You guys are great, and even though this game isn't quite perfect, I'm giving you a 5/5. You guys are great. keep it up.

One other thing: tower upgrades being locked on early levels even if you go back for a replay later on is a very irritating thing. Especially if by that time you've had a chance to get used to the upgrades while playing other levels. It's the singularly most irritating thing for me in kingdom rush, for instance.

Love the fact you guys actually respond with changes according to what the players want rather than what you think they need. a) a reset button would be nice for the skills. accidentally sinking 2 points in eye towers as the first thing you do is the worst possible choice. b) tooltips that show even WHEN you cant afford a tower would be nice

Is there anyone who completed the last level without monsters passing though? I found wave 20 on the last level perticulary difficult or even impossible. There are four purple slime bosses, and they nearly reach the exit before they become visible again. Even with the 'stop' spell, i found it impossible to get the lever perfect.

I haven't even started the game yet and I have to agree with Cybroc, just seeing you consistently address everyone's issues is freaking awesome. Good work ethic and customer support! I will be playing as soon as it's loaded!

Last level is doable with two Central Crit towers at level 2ish (be careful leveling the bottom to 3 stars as the extra range will mess up targeting) flanked by level 1 blues to stall the waves. Put base browns in the corners to pop stealth. The purple boss round needs stop up and ready as well as a few of the later blue monster waves. Greed is optional I started turning the corner browns into crits as well before hitting level 3 on the central browns.

tip: ALWAYS upgrade towers as fast as possible. totally worth it. sometimes you'll loose with standard towers, but would not need even half of your towers if upgraded for same cost.

I will say again what's said above, and i'm saying it because it is so OBVIOUSLY needed that I can't believe it isn't part of the game. When i click something to make a tower, it doesn't even tell me the names of them! I shouldn't have to pause just to know what I'm doing right from the very beginning.

This has very good potential. One thing that frustrated me, though, was the lack of targeting options for the towers--once or twice the strange and (apparently) unchangeable targeting logic allowed a very killable creep to waltz right through more-than-adequate defenses. 4/5 as it stands; continue to improve and polish it up (great work on doing that so far, by the way), and it'll easily be a 5/5.

Towers should always target the mob closest to the exit. I've had a few imperfect levels because of this when it would have otherwise killed all the mobs.

Very nice game. I won't come back on the main issues because they didn't bother me that much. I still have a little request, could you please allow us to reset our skills, it would give your game some deepness (i'm not sure of that word, i learnt english by myself ^^ ) giving us the opportunity to try different strategies.

Under the tool tip for the eye tower it tells us that it gets the same upgrades (Inferno, Greed, Volcanic) as the tower of fire but in the start menu the upgrades for the Eye tower are Radar, 3 Eyed, and Chain lightning. Not that big of a mistake but should be fairly easy to fix!

OK... overall, a very nice looking game, and a welcome style in the TD genre.
Side scrolling TD, perfect!
A few issues as noted by others are that it would be nice to have a hover over that displays what the tower does, for the initial purchase, and upgrades too.
Clicking off the tower into the background should deselect it.
Clicking another tower should deselect the last tower you had selected.
Obviouosly this is made by someone who has English as a second language, so maybe they could ask someone to re-write some of the descriptions.
Great game, 4/5 with the possibilty of a 5/5 with a few tweeks!

skill reset please, i need to upgrade steam till maximum to finish last level with no escapers, but it's impossible cause i need one last skill point, which can only be achieved by doing it, so, im stuck forever :(

It's very frustrating that completing the last level doesn't give a skill point to max out skills. There are certain parts of the last level that seem nigh on impossible, and the extra skill point would make a difference.

Good game, quite easy though. I've got some speed issues, probably because of a video driver. Clicking on a unit - it takes forever for the upgrade menu to appear if there are a lot of units. I can't see the stats of a tower and I can't see the stats of an upgrade unless I have money. I REALLY hate games where there are slide or fade effects. Those can give very bad speed issues.
