4 monks + 6 captains both upgraded, got me the indestructible achievement and full stars on the limited gold level. Try this strategy before downrating my comment.

limited gold one would be easier if i could use the captains
its also VERY HARD because the enemy spawns too quickly when im at their
base, so can u fix that by making a 2.0 version or a patch or somthing?

Simplest way to beat every level.
Tech-
High Priest
Captain
Starting gold 2
Start with a windmill and barracks. Build a couple footmen and leave them at your gate. Save for keep. Build keep, then train mace men. Build monastery. Train 4-5 high priests. Save for castle. The moment you send out a captain you win (not literally...)

ok, NPC spawning speeds up when you get close to their gate? That makes the game practically impossible on Limited Gold levels

That limited gold level has to be bugged. There's no way the opponent should have unlimited resources and the ability to spawn troops faster than you ever can, especially that early in the game. Please fix.

OMG cmon, at the last level, the enemy attacks you after less than 1 minute with 5 or more captains and 2 High priests!

Originally gave it 4/5 until I reached the level with limited gold and couldn't get past even when I tried the strategy suggested in the comments. it seems like the enemy doesn't have the same restrictions for making units as you do, two knights pop out at once or three footmen. disappointed :(

i love this game i wish it was multi player but i still love it so ill give it a 4/5 if it was multi man i would be 10/5

i am usually very found of games like this and had no trouble whatsoever until the very last level where 3 captains and 3 high priests and 2 cannons spawn and attack me about 1 minute in...i am fully upgraded and even after my best ideas i just get pwned...so id like to say that this game is great excluding a few balance issues? hopefully they get looked at... 4/5 for a great game with minor issues

Notice: they will not attack you untill u kill ALL there units, they come in hoards, so try to just leave a archer attacking you, then you'll have 5 mins to get upgrades then make a army

Eh, I take it back, the knight gets killed so quickly XD She's the only unit that reaches the enemies gates before I win though, the others are too slow.

lvl 6 goes so good. But when you get close to the enemy, he wil start mass producing units. Not very fair! Someone knows a good strategy for winning it?
