I love the concept of this game, it could become a winner!
You just need to work out some kinks (you'll read them all in the previous comments, not gonna repeat them). Once you make it smoother and working, work on the graphics, that will make more people take it seriously.
As you most likely already saw from other answers I work on an improved prototype.
The gameplay is different and more complex.
Most of the current problems should be gone I guess some new issues will show up.
But I´m sure it will be way more enjoyable overall.
I know there are still many typos in the game. That has right now a low priority since I want to improve the gameplay first and get rid of bugs and performance problems.

The "memory leak" is caused by a combination of poor design decisions in the core of the game and the way how Unity games translate to the web-gl Platform. Basically, I gave the garbage collecter more work than he can handle at any given time.
The game is so far just a prototype and I work as fast as I can on the improved version.
If it turns out that many preferred the original concept I switch back to it. Otherwise, I stick to the new concept. In that case I´ll take over the new better core code and improve this here.

as for ppl that are not happy for slow progress.After you reach later lvls and upgrade things.It is quite fast later on.

tnx for response and as for night time.It is how real clinic in my country would work.Well i am from croatia so you wouldnt be able to go there after 8pm.It is similar to your clinic here.But for hospital yea it would work all night.Your game has soo much potential.I would return to this game soo much more if you update it and pm all ppl about it.It is such great concept.If you fix some issues and rework night time yust little and add some lvls or maybe extra room if your room cant handle all the crowd it would be amazing in my eyes.More ppl would give beter rating i am sure of it.YUst work on this game and dont leave it behind.YOu have great game with super concept here.Dont let it die pls ^^

As mentioned before, the gameplay is pretty different to this one.
I compare the two prototypes and their response here. I still like the concept of my self and want to build on the foundation. I should have done more testing first and put some more time in polishing things out. However, even if I stick to the new concept I consider to remake the original one later on. The new concept offers more content and more things to do. Thanks for the nice words. After I fixed a few things after the inital start I got a lot of positive feedback that´s why I iron out the problems now. I put as much time as possible in it so I hope it will be ready in 1-2 weeks.

After day 1 I have -19 funds. I have bought nothing, because it was all more than I had. I was in another tab because there was nothing to do, but now on day two there is even less to do...
Since the amount of patients you get is kinda random it is possible to lose money. But it might be that things go wrong while the game has no focus. I´m not sure how the different browsers handle it. IF you have the money to buy or upgrade a room you can do so. You´ll -0 for a day or two but you can´t go bankrupt.

nvm my coment for max lvl but then you are limited by how much your room can heal.If you have too many ppl some will be left behing so i sudgest maybe extra room for that specific area or something similar.That way you dont get insta heal and you can actually progress fruther into something you actually want to achive
Frankly, I did not expect that people play that far in this prototype. And since it´s balanced poorly I did not know that you guys get to many patients. However it was planned first to make more treatment rooms like the ward and the surgery ready soon after launch. I had to change planes because of poor design decisions in the core of the game.

yea some random tought like adding some random events like big accidents with no cap limit on lvls,that could make things far more tasty.YOu would have deaths.Atm not danger to losing game.It is idle so i get it but still you could get cool accidents or maybe some events you could accept or deny to cure patients.Idk.THis game has alot of things that could be super cool.I see pic from theme hospital.It is same genre so idk.
A lot of that was actually planed. Most of it is even in the game but locked. In the Basement is the Morgue and the organ bank for dead patients. Next, the toe drugstore is Garage and an EM. Since most people complained about the too slow gameplay I went back to the drawing board and I work on an improved prototype with different gameplay. I´ll compare the feedback the two prototypes and go from there.

things i would like to see in this game is,no limit on lvls on rooms,it doesnt make too much sence,you want your clinic to grow to hospital or make it like prestige sistem so it looks like you progress.Once you get to max lvl then no point in playing or make lvls of rooms much bigger.This could be really good idle game.I dont mind night time since most of clinics doesnt even work on night.It is really smart thing.But maybe upgrade where you push towards night shift and transforming clinic to something large.
The night time is there because it was planned to have Ward rooms in the top Level of the clinic.
The rahter low levellimit is because it´s a prototype and I have to balance the rooms and costs out first. How ever, since many complained about the slow gameplay I make a new prototpye with mor to do. But th gameplay is far from the same. I´ll compare the feedback to the two prototypes and got from there. Frankly, after the bad start, I did not expect that so many people keep playing it.

Status update: I work on a new prototype based on this game. The setting is not really the same. It will be located in the very same clinic but a few years later and with pretty different gameplay. The plan is to get the new prototype out in about 3 weeks. I´ll compare it to the initial game and afterward, I will figure out which concept to keep. Perhaps I´ll make a poll about it.
This here will stays as it is for now. The new core code is superior in anway so even if I would keep this concept I had to change a lot and I there would be a a safe game reset anyways.
Yes, sorry for that. I have to do a lot of the code from scratch. How ever this is a prety poor prototype anywas but I got a lot of usefull information out of it.
I hope I´ll be able to deliver a new prototype with way more gameplay in 1-3 weeks.

general tip: include version-based checksums in the save-data. This way the game can know when the save-data needs conversion (or even when it's unsalvageable).
Well, I have to admit the whole saversystem I made here is rubish anyways. To build in a checksum would be the way to go but a hazle with my current mess. Many things are stored as ints while the patients are stored as strings. And even worse, every single patient has his own save string.

Really nice start, interesting theme and interesting mechanics. The UI needs a bit more TLC, and more content is always nice. Prestiging would be easy to explain thematically as opening a new clinic in a new area, and previous experience giving a leg up. It'd be nice to see the various rooms gain experience as they process patients. Perhaps a marketing room to bring in more patients. Speed 10X would improve the experience, too:P
Faster speed during the day is in the current version not possible because of silly limitations I made in the core code.
Frankly, I did not expect to get so many plays at first. It´s so far just a prototype.
I work on an all-new version with a lot more to do but the game is also very different.
Since I got a lot of feedback I consider to redo/improve this variant of the game as well.

Good concept. Good mechanics. Some annoying spelling errors that get distracting. Some funny lines. Could use a bit more complexity. I look forward to improvements that could make this a great game.
yeah, there is not much to do in the game. Sorry for the spelling errors I used an browser addon to fix the most of it but there might be some left.
I started already to redo the whole thing. The new version will be very different but offers way more to do for the player. Hard to tell how long it will take.

Hmm, I like the concept, but doesnt seem to be working well yet. Bought internist, it took money, but didnt actually get the building upgrade so now to wait a few more days to have money to try buying something else. Don't object to slow progress but saving up for something and buying it and not getting it is annoying.

make sure you get internest before the others... they may very well tell you that youdont have enough moneyand take your money igf you do have enough...dunno who they are but i d not like them

I´m currently rebuilding the whole thing. The emptiness will be filled with things for the player to do. This will take a while since >80% of the code will be replaced.
How ever, if more bugs show up please leave a comment so I can make sure they will be gone in the new game.

looks like the memory error starts after you saved/left the game for a bit, and then come back to it. on 7:59 when the first patient arrives in the lobby

A new build will be online in a few minutes. It should fix the memory problem. However, the fix might slow the game down for some systems. I capped the ticks to one per frame. I work on a better solution for the issue.

Happened 4 times now. Both on chrome and Firefox. Always Jan 8 7:59.
Also, when you buy a new room (has happened with internist and dentist anyway), it takes the money, but room does not register. Remains at level 0. If you reload the game at this point, room room registers as level 1 on reload. On the plus side, game is much better with increased speed and income seems a little more balanced now.
I work currently on the memory issue. The thing with the room upgrade seems to be a display issue. So you get the room it just does not show up in the menu. I´ll have a look at this too.

Best attempt ever on a real time idle o.O But real time is just way too slow in a game, and the x5 doesn't make any difference! 1/5
Yep, seems like this game is way more boring to the most players than I expected. It was meant for players that just want to have something open while they chat.
However, I´ll rebuild the thing and make something more fun out of it.
As soon as as the bugs are fixed since the real-time aspect will stay.
The current "gameplay has to leave" and will be replaced by something that gives the player things to do.

That´s a hard one. May I ask about the browser you use? Did you have a lot of other tabs open?
Did you try to close your browser and load the game again?

getting any decent amount of money takes way to long at the start. and the pharmacy upgrades kill any chance you have of getting money
The problem with the pharmacy should be fixed now. So you make more money with lvl2 even if you have only the Alternative station.
It is still a very slow progressing game and that´s currently because there is yet not that much to buy. As soon as you have another treatment room you get way more money and from there you are able to buy all the current rooms in very litle time.

I like the concept of this, but as is theres big problems. It's way too slow. Allowing us to click something to speed it up would be nice. The night mode is utterly pointless. Just have the clinic close at whatever time and fast forward to the next day. And finally, once I bought my first upgrade, I was forever at a negative balance come morning, while never earning enough to buy another upgrade. Pharmacy level 2 doesn't seem to make any difference in income anyway. With some rebalancing and a few other tweaks, this will be a solid game though.
The one with the neagtive money is odd. Must have been one of my last second changes.
I´ll fix it today.
TO close the clinic during the night seems legit right now. But would not work in the fututer.
There are more rooms (not yet aviable for the player) and some of them run durng the night.

Even with the night boost, why have it? There is a LOT of waiting with absolutely nothing to do. Also, with how slow a day is, and how little money I made, I bought an upgrade and started day 2 $88 in the hole. Still early, so I'll keep playing to see how the rest feels, but so far needs some early game rebalancing.
The idea was to bring back old school idle games. But it seems like they ae not popular anymore.
So I´ll see if I can make the whole thing a bit faster.
