Wow, not the best move from Cael to push that beta game into public with all those unbalance stuff. GL playing the game and have fun playing with waste heat "feature" that will kill all the build you had in mind.

I really like the employee and grant system as a whole, because it makes you pick and choose which buffs you want, and you can specialize a bit for an interesting reactor design. I don't like that free lootboxes are limited to level ups (which eventually stop when the quests do) and watching an ad every 24 hours for one (that's a terrible rate, and god forbid you can't get an actual ad). As it stands, it's alright, and some quests can be a real bitch. 3/5

One star just because I HAVE to do things your way. It isn't a game if I'm not allowed to actually play. These quests are no better than a tutorial forcing me to walk through things.

Why does it take so long to unlock capacitors? As I recall the original game let you have them by 14K power, but now I have to do a quest for 100K power 1K at a time.

should add a efficency value in percentage for every equipment example
100% removing 3000 / 3000 heat , heat transfer , vent etc etc

As some have mentioned could use a way to pause perpetual skills instead of removing all cells. Also I've run into some sort of bug glitch that now whenever I open staff I can't change to any of the other tabs without reloading.

Upgrade 10 staff members? Previously upgraded staff don't count? No good way to grind for staff or fragments to even have anywhere near enough to do this for at least another 5 or six levels... if I get lucky with RNG gods?

@ nynniva: consider it part of the challenge...there are upgrades to balance this out. @ Selva: this is the sequel to reactor incremental. reactor idle was the one with islands. @ cael: I'm about fed up with the staffing mechanic. too much luck required for a skill-based game. i'll check back from time to time, but you've got work to do.

So, putting a single sell on autobuy...for this quest. And it gradually drains my money to zero? Surely a cell should generate more money than it costs to keep replacing it? Otherwise what's the point?

I love reactor idle. And the idea of a sequel, more of the same and better, seems amazing. But, to be honest, I'm not so sure this is that. It seems like instead of adding goodness to an already awesome system a lot has been added to make it more cumbersome to do the same things to get to the same destination. Perhaps it still in beta and will be more streamlined in the final version. I hope so. 8)

Seems "perpetual" is intermittent. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. Is there an on off switch I've missed. If it's explained in that brief tutorial you get to see exactly once I might suggest some way to go back and find stuff. Otherwise, I think something is glitching.

[BUG] Hold to Vent Heat, Passive 2 heat this tick hold should give +4 heat vented this tick but it only gives +2 heat vented this tick. Also Hold to Vent adds what is supposed to be 4 (because 200% of 2 = 4) vent to the passive line not the active line.

@Knight8183: thnx m8, i realize, but i rely on autobuyers while i'm AFK. I've also figured out staffers...just had to find the places to click where the tooltip links remained after i moved my mouse. My only issue at this point is balance. I remember in the first game needing skill to use most of the components of the game. It could just be where i'm at and it will change, but I'm fairly well into the game and it all seems to be about cells paired with vents and the rest of the grid filled with plating and caps. I miss needing to invest in and using outlets and exchangers. #HopeRebalancingIsInTheWorks

One thing I would like to recommend is a button or something that keeps all the little tutorial popups for later viewing. For example, once you get the crafting things, a thing that explains what they are and how to use them or a "journal" that updates with each new thing you unlock.

@Chaafii: You can buy fuel cells and place them on depleted cells with just simple left-click. Staff-based re-buy is actually just convenience and not good for your finances at their base levels (at 200% cost)

Thanks Cael. Yeah, I'm figuring out that it's not just random luck getting perpetual staffers. Just needed to be a little more patient. I guess my last thing is just understanding the other staffers. I mean the bonus names are not found in equipment and they're not explained. Plus, what the heck does +1 mean exactly. No rush, it's beta after all, but at some point, more details would be appreciated. Cheers.

Post update had heat vents non-functional, hit 8000+ over heat. Reactor should have had a meltdown but never did. Still need the perpetual on/off button.

I haven't explored staffing much. The descriptions are rather ambiguous. But they do appear to be the only way to re-buy fuel cells and while I got a bunch of staffers early on, that well has appeared to dry out and I can't re-buy the fuel cells that I want to now. This has all the makings of a game breaker and deal breaker for me. The tutorial suggested relocation as a possible solution, but if you keep your level and xp, I don't see how that helps. AFAIK, all that does is reset your upgrade choices.
You should be receiving interns with the Perpetual skills of the fuel cells you should be using at specific levels. I don't know which level you're at, but level 12 is the level in which you receive the Perpetual Plutonium intern, and 16 is when you get Perpetual Thorium. These interns come in blue boxes.

The game died while I was AFK (just a :( face on a game screen). Reloaded. All of my tier 4 vents blew up as soon as I started. It showed they could have only 500k heat per tick. Paused. Switched to Staff panel and back and now it shows 1mil+ heat per tick. And now it works.

level 25 seems to be a money wall at this point unless I am missing another way to get fragments or staff. upgrade 10 staff members after just having to have 6 upgraded means you need 16 multistar staff which is a lot more than I have at this level. then you need the fragments to do the upgrades. and the fragments for the 10 grants. Unless I am missing some other way to get the boxes or all of that stuff then the only way is to spend money which seems kind of crazy to me.

I relocated with perpetual uranium, and the first cell I placed went negative durability and infinitely produced power. It broke everything until I refreshed, and I still had the power. Otherwise great game so far, I wish I had played the first one.

Can we get an on off switch for the perpetual skills. It would be nice if we did not have to delete and repurchase cells. Turn off perpetual let cells deplete change workers shift click to rebuy and turn back on rather than manual clicking each one to replace.

The game has issues loading at times, where it gets stuck on the Options tab and acting as if I have no Staff(the perpetual skills don't take effect and the cells die)

Shift click to replace all depleted fuel cells of that type is very useful. Things like that are great functionality that is missing in some 'completed' games. I hope to see more great things with this game!
