Miniaturization is bugged in some way. Or the description is entirely inaccurate. even with just vents and a fuel double fuel rod, the double fuel rod produces the same amount of waste heat as if I place down more than 6 exchangers.

overall, just doesnt feel as well made as the first game, also pacing is way off, and waste heat mechanic is odd... you can delete all cores and then your reactor overheats from waste heat...

It's okay idle, but unlike the previous game, this has too much unnecessary mechanics. Like, movable heat, wasted heat... so you just need to add heat exchanger so cooling takes too much space. Okay, i feel ya, rebalancing is good, but THIS balance is just evil, i get too much punish for relocating and not many benefits.
Of course... loot boxes... like... man... no.
Quests is nice, but i can't just straight build something, when in Reactor Incremental, you go faster and faster each time and it's great, but not here.
Maaaan, i was exited by this game, but after seeing what this did, i'd go better play just previous game that give me better experience... thanks for Reactor Incremental

It would have been so much easier to progress through this game if the upgrades required in-game money instead of extremely limited upgrade points.

The frugal skill can allow money gain by simply buying and refunding components.
The dev certainly put no effort to balancing, and the lootbox mechanism makes this game look like a quick cashgrab. Disappointed.

I'm going to call this done. I finally got to the quest "Balance". It requires 18 dolorium cells, 18 vents, 18 heat exchangers, 18 plates, 18 coolant cells. The single dolorium cells produce 4.5B heat/tick without any adjacency multipliers. The vents dump 1.2B heat and the plates store 129B heat. That's a surplus of 3.3B heat that simply cannot be dealt with. The top tier of heat vents can't keep up with the next-to-last single fuel cells.

I like the new mechanics, makes it fresh and changes up the strategies, but the loot box system being tied to the quests (and some quests requiring you to have gotten good pulls in order to complete) makes the game virtually unplayable unless you want to spend real money. Very disappointing

Having everything locked behind the quests and levels sucks. It means I'm at 1 million in cash with double plutonium cell and a stable reactor but I have to wait 2 hours for the megawattage+ quest(10M power) or 3 hours for the yellow-bellied(deplete 30 plutonium cells) only to get 1 or 2 more parts and another hours-long wait

idk yall.... i got bored of the other one, and i kinda havent yet on this one. id like some prestige cells though... thats the biggest thing ive missed from the first game. its not a paywall, you can idle around it, as the wattage questline always is available. i am currently attempting to do Ancient Rites at level 31. its not a pay wall, its the option to skip the game for a price; tbh, paying to reduce the fun of your game.

ok i guess i figured somthing out... if you get a worker with a fuel resupply + it will replace the fuel at normal cost....too bad i dont have anyone like that for plutonium and uranium.

within 15 minutes of playing this game i already knew it was a complete joke compared to the previous game. everything about this game is a complete downgrade from reactor incremental, and what is done new is done poorly, so much so that it'd be a better game if it were removed. go play reactor incremental, it's actually quite enjoyable, this is just microtransaction bait.

ilepisch, it is because the heat/fuel production is exponential, meaning rather then 2 cells meaning 2x production, 2 cells is to the power of 2 production, and four is to the power of four, which mean 4 x 4 x 4 x 4, not 4 x 4.

I haven't played it yet, but knowing myself im goi to say this beforehand, I'm not going through the pay walls. Its just not happening, but i'll gladly play the game while i can for free on here, should the game go astrok and get sold on steam, then ill buy it on steam, but till then i'm playing on here. Side note: don't just write it off, play the game, it might be fun for you while others hate it.

adjacent fuel cells are really good its more efficient than the next fuel cells you can buy and way cheaper adjacency of cells produces more heat and power but same duration

Aside from the shitty quests, can we also bring attention to the GOD AWEFUL type-setting used in this game? its almost impossible to read anything at a glance, what with the blocky minimal resolution characters, and the background which seems to have been picked just to make it even more difficult to parse what might be written. Serious QoL malus.

i think to beat level 31 you need to not upgrade any guys so you get all the quests then upgrade only once you reach it making sure to have +3 framing and +7 armor. i have imp plating and improved pipping maximzed and still can only get 1T cooling

i got a bug that the ad chest timer says "18477,00,10,29 until next pack" all i did was load a save from 2 weeks ago.

It'd be nice if I could manage staff while my heat was at 1% after shutting down. Heat cycling back and forth between the reactor and pipes makes things take quite a while.

More: Capacitors are pretty badly tiered. An entire ring (66) of tier 1 capacitors sells about 1k times less than tier 2 capacitor costs, the same ring of tier 2 capacitors sells 10k times less than cost of a tier 3 capacitor. This means tedium. Also, heat pipes are effectively taxing you twice per amount of heat eventually vented out, since they first move heat into themselves and then into vents, and some heat is taxed 4x since it gets moved back into the outlet! This was negligible in RI1, here it's a burden too heavy.

Really a step down. Waste heat should at least be contained, esp if you dev decide to make it be produced not just in cells but in vents and PIPES - WTF with the 90% second pipe efficiency? Show me pipes that do like this IRL! Next, since you are anyway limited to single power source, using quad/dual cells is strictly inferior to using single cells, due to waste heat. Perpetual ability is implemented poorly since you can only change staff while reactor is stopped, but it can't stop on its own (unless blown up) with crew with perpetual skill. Upgrading people takes some resources that are nowhere to get. You are overflowing with grants while can't employ em on anyone. Autosave works against you should you accidentally the whole reactor. At least blowing self up is fun. 3/5
