@kingjazzad12 have you seen when this game was made, i used to play this and the first one as a kid, I don't come back 10 years later for the gameplay, i come back because of the nostalgia trip.

Good game. It starts off very easy, then gets very difficult, then gets very easy again as you get more upgrades.
Also, guys, there is a secret free upgrade that i found (I don't know if it's location is randomly generated) just above the cloud line at the very far left border of the map.

These people are the embodiment of the sunk cost fallacy. You would think after having hundreds of ships sunk and seeing the whale change size right in front of their eyes, they would bail.
Then again, the whale ate the moon, so it is clearly a menace that needs to be dealt with.

The aliens are annoying because they require skill and lots of upgrade points to hit, but the ghost ships, oh the ghost ships... those are the true bane because even the weakest ones are a pain in the ass, spending so much time incorporeal, jumping into portals all over the place where they're hard to find... I swear I spend several minutes at the end of each of the later levels just waiting for the ships to actually freaking show up.

Those saying you dont reach aliens. Have you tried boosts and upgrades? They are an immense help once you figure them out

upon more playing, game in fact is just bad desing, hit boxes as dmg boxes are bad, you need hit with tail in a weird movement, head doesnt affect them no matter your size.
jump/boost/speed are bad pogramed that you need go super deep to get high altitude however you need all of them to reach moon but few less you barrely get up, so i'd say the hard badge should be impossible range not hard

Trash game, impossible to kill aliens ,they are too high ,always shot
tried bunch of combination speed, boost, size nothing works they are just bullshit

Fun concept but terrible controls. Most of the time is spent floundering around, jumping around ships like a friendly dolphin, or blindly trying to hit the high altitude alien. A larger hitbox, and an offscreen enemy indicator which pops up immediately would make this much better

I'm using chrome and I was awarded the botd just like always . No refresh no nothing. I had the badge , just got my extra points + blocks :D

For people using chrome make sure it is up to date. My BOTD was not registering, updated Chrome and that worked...for me at least lol.

Those with BOTD issues, STOP using chrome! Use something else! (I used with firefox and got tues and wed) Spread the word!

Like it, but desperately needs either keyboard controls or a full-screen / locked mouse function. The amount of times my cursor just disappeared off into the wilderness of my multi-screened setup was too frustrating in the end. Good game if it wasn't for that.

I'm going ahead and taking Screenshots to proof I have the badge achievement before it becomes the BoTD so I can prove I've completed it. Maybe this way I can actually get the Kongpanion. I've given up on keeping my shiny streak goign.

"Eat all fish in single wave" - one freaking angelfish keeps skulking at map edge and running away unpin you starve to death. Excellent.

The controls are atrocious. My whale just stops in the water with no indication of what's happening. I'm humping ships, nothing is happening. The humans fall faster than you can swim. So sad, had promise with good graphics and premise. 1/5

The trick to the game is that attrition isn't a viable strategy - you can't really dodge enemy attacks, even with max dive. Max out your speed (or get it close) while getting up to half size and maxing out durability and health, then get to full size. For the early UFO waves where they first get out of reach, you can shift some points from endurance into jump. Once regen is maxed, you'll be practically invincible for a little while, and you can put the rest of your new points into bonuses. Air, dive, and starvation are useless skills except for some niche achievement hunting purposes - they all revolve around outlasting the enemy by diving and avoiding their attacks, which can't really be done. The strategy for levels is to kill the enemies as they enter, and be ready to retry some levels a few times based on luck - switching points around isn't as helpful as other people seem to believe. That's how I made it to wave 50, which is, as best I can tell, endless.
