You realize Captian Ahab had no one to blame but himself for getting eaten. This game proves that Moby Dick had no choice but to take out human ships. If earth's entire naval population would have just stop shooting endless arrows, cannonballs, and nets at him, he could have had a peaceful life annilating the entire fish population. But out of self defence, he had to fight back. He even defended the earth from an alien invasion (a little known fact). He really was a nice whale.

I think the map should get bigger as the wale gets bigger. after a while its hard to control him on such a small screen.

This game is going to be absolutely fantastic, I'm really hoping that this game will get upgrades, maybe even upgrade trees so you don't just buy the same ones till you're basically invincible, but is balanced out instead using different strategies. that would include "scarred hide", "improved boost", "larger lungs" or "muscular fins" even.
it's horribly hard to steer when you get larger, I think the sea should be made deeper, and have the area grow as you grow. I find myself to swim in up to 3 full circles before I get a health boost I want, and that actually caused me to die once or twice, but that could be fixed with an upgrade as well :)

"And then, after leaping nigh 50 feet out of the water, the Great White Whale was hit with a cannonball, where it promptly turned into a skeleton and hung transfixed in the midair."

I love this magnificent animal called Moby Dick. It's a white whale weighing 25 tons, which falling from 100m flat on surface of water is making just few gentle ripples. Simply astonishing.

I agree with so many of these comments. The game is addicting but the control is terrible and it's quite annoying to boost into a large galleon only to have MAYBE one guy fall out of it... the same with a little canoe! Seriously, it's a bit frustrating to have to hit the larger ships so many more times even when you're 100 tons. Why don't I do more damage when I'm larger?

Split your lungs with blood and thunder;
When you see the White Whale;
Break your backs and crack your oars men!;
If you wish to prevail;
This ivory leg is what propels me;
Harpoons thrust in the sky;
Aim directly for his crooked brow;
And look him straight in the eye;
White Whale;
Holy Grail

"This is what hapens if you make a game about a book you have never read."
Awsome! I'm going to make Bible: the video game! :D

This game is pretty easy to get over 1M points if you remember a few things . 1 - Do backflips . If someone asked me about the most efficient way of sinking ships , this is what I would tell him . Just jump slightly over the surface of water and try to circle whale with your cursor . 2 - powerups don't disappear, so if you have health you don't need, live it for the hard times . And if you have invulnerability, take it only when there is no healtpack around or when you are terribly close to becoming a skeleton . 3. Combine charge with backflips and everything must go ^ ^ Hope this help even a bit : D

1: when you reach a certain size, smaller ships should completely capsize when you hit them (especially if you belly-flop). 2: there should be a bonus when you catch a sailor out of the air.

Dear all flash game developers: If your game relies on just the mouse for movement, learn to LOCK THE MOUSE INSIDE THE D*MN FLASH WINDOW so stupid clicks outside don't happen and cause death.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The screen really moves around too much when you move the mouse, I think. It's very difficult to focus on any point of the map when it moves like that.

I think that how HARD you hit a ship should determine how many sailors get bounced off. Seriously, when you weigh fifty tons and do a boost from the bottom of the ocean, it will crush a three man ship, maybe even one of those large cannon ball ships.

i must admit whilst playing this game I thought on many an occasion "oh come on your boat was just throttled by a 50,000 kg whale! How is it still floating??!! Nonetheless, I love it!

the fish must be breeding like mad rabbits, pretty good music and good play, but easily rrepetive, need upgrade or sort of growing changes.

Not all whales eat krill. The killer whale, or orca, eats seals. Dolphins, which are sort of like miniature whales, eat fish. :3

this might be remotely playable if the controls were better or the steering was more responsive. and if the whale were tougher, try googling how long one can hold its breath for.

I cant believe that ramming a max size whale into the bottom of a ship while using a speed boost only knocks 1 sailor off yet sends your whale half a mile into the sky.

I am the Terror of the Seven Seas ^_^
Really nice game, but needs some updates:
1. counters - getting achievements without knowing how many of smthin must be eaten ... ugh
2. sailor heads should disappear from the bottom, it gets too laggy when you feast too much ;)
3. maybe some better ships ? i got to kill myself, no matter how many ships there were, they couldn't kill me

It just isn't fun once you're big anymore. I want to feel invincible when I'm weighing 120 tons, diving deep and crushing everything in my way. Instead I feel like a huge unmanoeuvrable thing in a goldfish tank. I still have to hit a simple fishing boat as many times as I had to when I was the size of a seal, only that now I have to depend mostly on luck to actually hit it. Sorry, badge of the day, but we live in different worlds.

Something should really be done to clean up the bottom of the ocean with all the ships and heads i keep putting down there.
