@deffed - The drones slow down considerably when they are within a certain distance of you - if you stand your ground you should be able to defeat up to a certain number of them before they damage you too much.

@Combustix - Thanks for all the suggestions and feedback! I'll be sure to include a lot new vehicles (not to mention bug fixes :P ) in the next version(s) of Carbon Combat. Also, more players should be joining and playing soon as I'm considering posting it as a Google Chrome web store app. See you in the game!

great game, great graphics, great idea, and great fun, so great job! It would be nice if more players played it but i know that you can't fix that CarbonTech. Also, it would be nice if the cars didn't go so fast because i constantly find myself flying down holes or flipping on my side when i drive through mountains...if there were like manual gears...that would be cool. maybe more weapons, and more cars. Also i agree with frotentoaster that flying should be on toggle, and with reggy1 that you should be able to lock on with rockets since you only have a few. But great game! I loved it and really hope that more players start appearing soon! you can be sure i'll tell my friends! 5/5!! (haha sorry this is kinda long...)

@DELGRAD: You, sir, are an idiot. As reggy1 has already pointed out, you had to download Adobe Flash to play anything on Kongregate. Furthermore, Unity Player takes less than a minute and is an incredible secure program. Therefore, there is no reason for you not to be able to enjoy this game. So i guess it is you that is a giant "FAIL" after all. Good day sir.

I think it it would be nice if the rocket could lock onto a target. as it is now all you need to do is hit space bar and your nearly invincable.

@Caspercool - the bots shouldn't have too good of an aim - I didn't put a prediction script for their firing. If you move fast enough you should be able to evade most of their shots.

@celo753 It's not a glitch - I purposely disabled the login/registration in Kongregate because they have rules against 3rd party account systems. If you login in Kongregate Carbon Combat will automatically take your username and use that as the Carbon Combat username.

Max altitude: 800 before the game tells you to return to the battlefield
Min altitude: -4.6 (underwater)
Max speed: 85 mph (clocked heading from mainland onto the beach (which is sloped).
Max freefall speed: 63 mph (any fallen distance over 250)

Awesome game! I hope more people start playing soon. Two things to take a look at; One, the "Flip" button comes up for me when I 'fly' for more than 10 seconds or so, and stays 'till I land (I was playing in IE). Two, I would prefer the flying to be a toggle rather than holding a key... Maybe there's an option for that and I missed it. Great game, 5/5! Very fun, no lag for me.

@celo753 DedicatedServer1 would be a dedicated server that I set up on my computer to help with the overall game joining and such (you could join the server if you were having problems joining others).
I will be adding different weapons, vehicles, and addons - but not in the public demo version. That is all on my agenda though!

@CarbonTech yes, but it's far too slow and I don't want to be zoomed in. Also, it annoys me that server connections/disconnections don't show up on the chat log. And finally, it annoys me that the chat automatically pops up when I scroll to the left wide of the window. A toggle feature for this would be perfect.

Carbontech, i got 2 questions: 1) Who is DedicatedServer1 who keeps hosting a world? 2) are you gonna add some different weapons (not laser and rocket) so that we can buy it with game money?

The problem with these sorts of MP games is that people see that there is nobody on, and they leave. Some notable points: -Relogging fixes fly problem. -shift button snaps camera to gun. Aim behind you then shift for quick a look backwards. -Strafing while flying isn't good because then we can't rotate. -type (respawn) if you're stuck. -higher damage would make this game faster paced, but it's not my place to decide that.

When the team buttons are grayed out and don't activate within 20 seconds it means that you couldn't join the server. I'm making a window to tell you if the connection failed or not right now - should be uploaded soon :)

I would change the flip script to allow players to flip at any point as opposed to making them wait overturned for awhile until it give the "Press F to flip" button.

Great game! The gameplay is original (Flying) and fun. Definitely 5/5. Just one thing: People need to play it! Come on guys!

You can find your own teammates using the player names (their badges) displayed above them. Enemy players are not displayed to add strategy (it would be way to easy if you knew where all your enemies were).
