Under rating threshold (show) Nice so far. Currently regen seems flakey at best. Fighter seems to regen properly all others seem to be odd if they regen at all. Shields don't seem to regen till wave 5 at all. Once you get hit you seem to stop regenerating at all till the next random time regen wants to kick in.

Thanks, TheRelic! I'll look to see if there's something odd. Generally, you need to not be hit for some duration before shields will recharge (varies depending on the type of shield, you can see the stats in the hangar). Your armor also regens; but, at a very slow rate.

Under rating threshold (show) Hi Alchemist. Thanks for the feedback! Right now, we're looking for exactly that - feedback! We wanted to test out this concept and this game with the Kongregate community, and if folks like the game, we're going to add more features and content. So, if you want to see more things like stronger equipment for fighters and bombers and more challenging scenarios for the Battleship, keep playing! Tell your friends! Give us 5 stars! The more action we see on the game here, the more love we're going to give it :)

Under rating threshold (show) The game has much potential. But soem things must be removed. I really hate the words return to battle field! There is no need for such a limitation. The configuring options for the ships are great. But this game has just too few description. Is the mission a unlimited survival or will be an end? The visible area is small. Some kind of radar would help. Autotargeting is cool, but it must have an option to be deactivated (maybe the shift key). Maybe there should be a option to configure the keys for weapon groups. Especially high power weapons are good for big targets, so its wastage if they fire with every click and if they are not there when needed. Please keep working on the game, it has definitly unique potential to be a hit, when its done right!

Under rating threshold (show) Hey, all, Love that you're playing the game! Thank you so much! It means a lot to the team :) FYI, I'm the lead engineer and it is wonderful to hear people talking about the hit detection and whatnot. Makes all the hard work feel worth it. Please, please, please tell us what you would like to see in the game! The engine supports large-scale fleet combat (not shown here), highly customized and tightly scripted levels, and more. We just need to have enough interest and support so that we know spilling the required blood is worthwhile :) Speak up! Love to hear from you all! And thanks for playing!

Under rating threshold (show) This is the bare-bones basis for something that might be interesting. The delay in shield regeneration is odd, but I suppose understandable. The fact that the shield seems to pick arbitrary times to regen or not makes survival simply a matter of luck, unfortunately. Is the delay in turning of the larger ships intentional or some sort of error? You might want to ask yourself about the best way to avoid being hit in the larger ships... if that answer is "well, there isn't any way- you just get hit", you might want to rethink that mechanic, as autodamage is kinda irritating (especially with the strange shield behavior). One last design point - fixed forward weapons on slow-turning, unwieldy vessels is a very strange design element. In the real world, we figured that out prior to WWI, it seems terribly out of place in spaceship combat, IMHO. All of that said, the engine seems solid and stylish. Good potential here.

Under rating threshold (show) Not sure what your end type of game is going to be but if it is going to be action you really need to drop the regeneration delay or change it to a regen vs this many seconds factor. You get about 5 seconds inbetween each wave right now so any shield with a delay of more than 5 seconds normally doesn't seem to trigger. The big ships move slow so they tend to get hit by "bullets" even after all the ships are destroyed so any shield or armor more than a 5 second delay means regen hardly ever occurs as it appears that the delay starts after the last hit only. Heavy ships right now get killed only due to the lack of regeneration.

Under rating threshold (show) Not bad. Shields die out too quickly. The battleship is kinda overpowered.

Under rating threshold (show) The XP bit is kinda confusing to me, because there is no actual use for it. The score doesn't really seem to matter either since there is no submitting it or a leader board or anything like that. The hit detection and movement are good though. Overall just seems rather incomplete, and some more features probably should have been added before this test release was made.

Under rating threshold (show) It was a lot of fun but it could really use a story mode rather then just waves of enemies. Who are the human renegades mentioned in the description running from? are they all that's left of humanity, or was humanit conquered and the renegades rebels against our conquerors? To me questions like this really need to be answered to help the players understand the setting better.
