epic plane game!its 1 from the best plane games ever!making a II should be SUPR EPIC and.....NEED pause button,checkpoints,more missions and upgrades....maybe for the battle of britain II (it should be SUPER EPIC to make 1)

I agree with the other people as to the pause button, checkpoints and energy+throttle bars but no one else has noticed how valuable a bit of a zoom-out would be. I can't EVER get onto an enemy's tail as whenever I come across one, I can't tell what angle to go in on until I'm there. I also keep pancaking as I can't see that the ground is INSIDE my turning circle.

Very nice game, graphics are perfect and game is a joy to play. It only seems too simplified in terms of physics model, there seems to be no real airspeed.

I hope there is Battle of Britain: 303 Squadron Beta Version 2.0 that has improved with pause buttons and landing gear. 1/3 of the missions should have Hurricanes, then Spitfires and P-51 Mustangs (Mustang MK IV)

Awesome game. Sucks when you get shot down you have to start all over. Checkpoints would be nice. Story line was good too. I was watching (well, more listening to) a WW2 program on TV while playing this; and I swear the guy narrating the cutscenes for this game and the guy on tv are the same person.

Useful tip for all levels: Fighters will climb when under 400 feet until 700 feet, at a constant rate without twitching,so try to get on their six from there. Tips to pass Mission 3: Bombers before fighters. Target the bombers first for an easy victory. For the fighters, try to get on their six. Tips to pass mission 5: For the ground and sea targets, keep low for the gun ship (approx. 30 feet) For the gun emplacements, radar station and V1 silos, limb to approximately 100 feet, and go up and down while shooting. For the fighters, try not to get any damage. Rather have a nice, long dogfight with them, than take damage.

Over all this is an awesome game. I love the general feel to it and hiding behind your friendly planes and shooting them. It does get frustrating without checkpoints, but you must realize that this is World War 2 you cannot have a little break to go to the toilet. I think in the sequel (if their is one) you should have the option to turn on and off checkpoints.
The multiplayer is very hard to use. You should make a lobby or something to have games. I like this game a lot and I hope you realize the potential in this game.
It deserves a 5/5 despite its issues.

Small tip if you find yourself chased by a player/cpu, fly down until the last second then rise up before u crash. Even the cpu will be fooled

only on the third misson and i can already see why everyone wants checkpoints. or if not checkpoints then why not seperate missions for the different parts of the big missions? (does that make sense? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......) and i agree with the damage bar too.

fun game, i like the multiplayer system, but that could use some form of communication. it would be nice if it explained how to unlock the other planes in multiplayer mode as well. otherwise great game!

on the last mission you should fly lower than the 30fts. There you cant be atacked. Then just go higher to fight the planes

For those who keeps asking how to unlock planes is by doing missions and completing them. But you can only use the planes in multiplayer mode in co-op.

Just would like to say many of the Polish pilots in the Battle of Britain were already experienced from the September Campaign.
