beaten the game... it was challenging but in the end it was all worth it and if you ever make a 2nd Sweatshop game you should add a permanent upgrade system

I'd give this game a 4.7/5. It's a great concept for a tower defense game. (The reason for not a 5/5 is because the "Evil Boss" thing is slightly annoying to me. Not that big, but whatever.) (And I do know about that other guy that appears to be threatening Boss.)

I like the game and had fun with it. I'm mixed on the little "For Real" facts between levels. Most of them are good and informative, but the very first one I saw was an asinine, overly broad definition of "sweat shop".

A few tips: Upgrading a repairman will increase his range greatly, which really helps when you need some space. Also, placing items that will increase the cash made when you complete an item around a packer is a smart move, in level 17 i had a bathroom and a fan right next to him, i ended up with $1,570 when i started with $500. I got a bonus of $25 on a $20 item.

Oh yeah, and word to the wise, robots work exactly the same way as other workers. The boss's comments about them are just for flavor. You can use all items on them, and they will get tired and injured. I guess this takes place after the technological singularity!

A hilariously gory game AND a strong humanitarian message with educational material to back it up? With great music, visuals, writing, level design, and gameplay??? I must be in gaming heaven.
5/5, one of the best games on the site.

I appreciate the awareness you're spreading, but the mechanics here are a bit silly. It isn't at all clear when some workers are dehydrated. Then when it's finally called to your attention that they are dying, you can't upgrade them to fix it? And you can't move a water cooler from its spot? How heavy is that darn thing? Can't I just empower the workers to walk across the room to get water as needed? I mean, yeah, yeah, it's a game, there have to be mechanics, yada yada. But these mechanics are slightly on the obscure and unforgiving side. Good game concept regardless.

I found that manager talking about flirting with some model until his wife looked disgusting. Wasn't funny at all. Made me close the game. 2/5

"Sometimes you have to give workers a little gentle loving. But not with your hands. I learned that by way of a police restraint" -The Boss 2015

The factoids in between missions lack citations or specific references (the history and data is there), which leaves the game with a feeling of editorializing instead of educating. Good effort, but specifics help drive home the point.

This game deserves a solid perfect score. Rarely is there a game that has everything done well or very well. From the game play to the music to the dialogue which was actually very well written & funny & entertaining. Along with tieing the game play & story into an overall meaningful message about the suffering & exploitation of those less fortunate then a lot of us...to the length of the game which was almost too long which I find rare to say about any flash game thats done so well. This game stands out for so many different reasons amongst the crowd of other games out there. Not only the bad but also the good ones too. This game is def something special in my opinion.

I don't know about 'hilarious' because the humor isn't actually funny and the boss and win screens are annoying, but other than that, it's the best social impact game I've seen since the Free Rice website. 5/5 stars and shared on FB.

Please add achievements. It would be nice to give incentive for people to play this game... and thus learn about sweatshops.

You could have a much bigger audience if you'd make it kid-friendly. I get that its funny and all but I wouldn't recommend my little siblings to play it unless he calms down. But I myself did give it a 5/5.

A+ for graphics, game style, content and underlying message.
Boss' offensiveness need to be toned down. I get it, he's a soulless jerk, but enough with the "I'm sleeping with your mother" jokes. Ugh.
