This game is slower than the music I am listening to... which is saying a lot! Lost my interest after the easy badge, which is a shame because with better pacing, it would be a fun game. As it stands, 3/5.

This game is pretty well coded, except for jumping and the slide on the last spirit level. I can't tell you how many times I've been running, hit space, and nothing happened. That slide also needed to have those blocks higher. The slide gets stuck sometimes, while speeding through others. Other than that, great game play. I like the idea behind the game a lot, too, but my religious self and philosophical self are somewhat separate, and many of these questions I felt had nothing to do with philosophy (is there an after life? My answer to that has nothing to do with my answer to philosophical questions).

Ah woops.... when I went back to get the time achievement thing... I've been almost purposefully putting in the opposite answer... I thought that it was only the first answer you choose that counted... although I suppose it is a good thing you can change your answers if you wanted to. :)
but other than the loading time, I overall like the game.

I like how in the body world and the 5th level the moving stone head, the floating totems nor the stars have no collision detection after a few tries, so when I try to jump onto something I just fall infinitely into the blackness, waaay past the clouds layer.

Character movement and general physics are too finicky, and this is a serious problem because of areas that require precise timing or placement. Getting all the star and time achievements is a frustrating grind when it should be an interesting exploration challenge. I also dislike how conversations move at a fixed speed and the only other option is to skip it (why not the tried and true "press a key to advance" style of text?). I'm giving this a 3/5 for deathcards and the philosophy parts, which were pretty cool, but it's too bad the rest wasn't.

I was going to give this game a try but then platforms started to not spawn when I died a few times trying to collect all of the stars on body world 5....yea...if your controls are going to suck you better make your game work so we can at least bang our heads against the wall instead of being literally impossible. 1/5

here's a FANTASTIC IDEA. 1) stop asking me to allow you to store junk on my computer. 2) stop trying to get me to link to your site. i'm on kongregate for a reason.

Wont Load.......I was debating if i should go to the site then i scroll down to the comments...and frankly Its not worth it -_- 1/5

I like the concept. Strike 1: game takes forever to load, so I don't want to explore anything. 2: the controls are terrible, and it is made worse by somewhat demanding platforming and checkpoints that reset your progress... very frustrating. 3: preferred version is at another site, and the game beats us over the head with it regularly. I want to love this, but it's unlovable. 1 star.

Great idea, but more thinking and less jumping would be welcome. Controls are hard and slow, and level 5 of the body world is insane (the part with the moving giant head/platform). I really don't want to break my keyboard doing the same level 15 times because I fall off the last platform. If you can fix these problems, I think the game would be very nice, and might even become popular of G+ or FB.

I liked making my character but it kind of went downhill from there I felt. I was expecting more of a deep game or at least a trippy game but it's just a platform jumping around type game with movement that feels really unsatisfying. I find these kinds of games really frustrating and couldn't handle more that 2 levels.

So the loading gear is completely white and now Its been about 3 minutes since it first got full, SO SLOW, IM STILL NOT PLAYING

The game itself is really, really good. I like the idea of designing my character. Answering questions and learning what type I am is also fantastic! But I have one problem. My progress keeps vanishing. I've started all over again three times already, bot on Kong and official site. So, I won't find out what's going to be in the End.

hate that you have to watch a 30 second movie about the obstacles in the last level, when the level itself does not take more than the 30 seconds.

I dont understand, I got the requirements for the hard badge ages ago. Today I log in and its in my Unearned Badge page. I come here and i don't have the badge, but both the requirement boxes are ticked. O.o

Amazing concept. Love the "answer these questions" bit with the heatmap, etc... really, really well done. Graphics/music are polished. The number wheel game is fun as well.
However, the platforming "game" is terrible. Even if the controls worked well, it's WAY too dull. "Can you jump around on these platforms until you get bored with collecting stars?" And we're TIMED. What fun. So if I want to do well, I have to run through these mind-numbing levels repeatedly?
You've got a great game here, so why don't you expand on that and ditch the unnecessary platforming game and related baggage?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I thought the art style looked cool and everything, but shit, man, I couldn't stick with it because of the lengthy loading times to do ANYTHING.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Okay, controls aren't great but I enjoyed the concept until the last level. After repeat deaths, the first column started falling RIGHT AWAY which meant there was no way to continue on the course. Restarting the checkpoint fixed it 10% of the time but the only sure fix was to restart the level (which meant an unskippable cutscene). The few times I made it past the first few obstacles, I encountered platforms and columns that once had been stationary, but now were moving into position. I'd like to see someone post a YouTube clip where they actually got through this because there's no way I am going to go through the frustration of all those bugs a hundred more times...

@Norashlow (and others) yes. you can now right click and select 'force local save' which will allow you to come back to Kong with all your game data
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The controls suck, the graphics are mediocre, the point of the game is laughable (I'm playing some weird hexagonal game against a giant, 6-armed bag of muscle in pursuit of self-discovery?), and to top it all off, it's got some kind of idiotic multiplayer aspect to it, which adds nothing and makes the game slow.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Why does this have badges? It's super glitchy. The controls are horribly unstable. You have to leave Kong to play the full game.

OK, WHAT AM I MISSING at the end of MIND LVL 3? I've tried over and over and over to get that last boulder to fall out of the tree after bouncing up onto that tall platform. I've tried to bounce differently, land in different places, use shadows, you name it. Hints, anyone? I'd really appreciate it. :)

This last level is the perfect cap of everything that is wrong with this game. The levels themselves are glitchy- timing on checkpoint reset is entirely messed up such that some platforms get entirely lost. Some levels get so wrapped up in showcasing their physics that it completely ignores the bugs that might be created (see snowboarding sections). The jumping and momentum mechanics are clunky, and the ledge grab mechanics are the worst. This is just a finicky platforming game with a single puzzle element re-skinned by a bunch of Freshman philosophy.

I hope that in your prospected updates you'll allow those of us who completed the game at playtheend.com's site to be able to transfer back our accomplishments here at Kong. (Would be bummed if this would be unfixable, I had "saved" this game before it was given badges.)
The extra content and very premise did slake my interest to keep playing, in spite of some aforementioned problems with responsiveness in controls. Many of the questions were worth much contemplation and I enjoyed the art style greatly. :3

Aside from the things already mentioned in the "best comments", I keep confusing background images with "real" stuff, which is really tiring. "Is that thingy going to kill me or is it just for show?" "Can i walk on this or will I fall down if I try." Not fun.
