Under rating threshold (show) If a noob like the salesman would reach my country, he would understand that the deer is food, not menace. He wont sell such a thing to anybody.

Under rating threshold (show) This is a great game, and, if i don't play it too fast, i can actually pick up on a lot of theory. I would really like it though, to be able scroll back and forth through what Jones is saying, when he provides reasonable doubts with someone's arguments. Sometimes i only have hunches on why specific arguments will work, and i want to make sure i understand why Jones' responses are correct. Thanks for a sweet game, guys.

Under rating threshold (show) I wish that at the end of the argument the "next" button would say "end discussion" or something, because very often I'm thinking that his argument will continue on with another point. Might just be my short sighted thinking, but otherwise this is an awesome game.

Under rating threshold (show) I think the "helping a dying man" is underused : the game should also understand this statement as the fact that you, yourself, are a dying man, and there is a moral obligation to help you. Especially true in the last argument in the last encounter where you get asked about the "purpose" of all this. Also in this last argument I wanted the opportunity to prove to them that philosophy is worthless (after all you're not a philosopher) and have an alternate ending where Kant becomes an accountant! :)

Under rating threshold (show) @SkipMe, books, written by anyone really, would you beleive them? and history? is everything "true" even with the use of our modern tech? or even with what seems to be written? :p and why would people's actions be different from "ancient" times and now? just that there are different items that makes people's minds look at some things differently but in the end, life is going no where :D why do people want to feel so superior when we are not even visible from space? there are other living creatures out there but none of those creatures controle all the planets (yea that's how "philosophy" works, going from 1 thing to another randomly) anyways you wouldn't just say anything, you have your opinions, that is all you can beleive what you want but in the end, i think, nothing is really true and people should just live how they want instead of having others living their lives (like those who are strongly into religion, they're making "god" live their life and not living their own life)

Under rating threshold (show) This game was magnificent. I cannot imagine for a moment the amount of effort that went into making it, and it saddens me that this game will probably be grossly underrated by people who do not appreciate philosophy.

Under rating threshold (show) This is a good game, but man it makes me aggressive. I know what argument I need to throw him off, but I just can't TELL him that, I have to find a way around it by klicking some buttons that are totally not related to what I want to say... Still, very good game :D

Under rating threshold (show) This is a great idea and a great game, but I have issues with some of the options presented. If we put ourselves in the context of ancient Athens then the arguments make sense, but the avatar in the game comes from the modern world in which we have more factual knowledge than the ancient Athenians. For example, due to our knowledge of genetics it could well be argued that morality does come at least partly from nature. I bring this up because it makes the learning process harder than it needs to be; it would be better if the story somehow stressed that only knowledge that was known at the time can be used. 5 out 5 regardless. If this game has whetted your appetite, then I highly recommend the book Sophies World. It is a fictional novel about a young girl learning about the history of philosophy.

Under rating threshold (show) One of the best games I have played. The characters are funny, the artwork is good, and the gameplay is fresh. But most of all, what sets this game apart is that it makes you think. I had to grapple with difficult ideas in order to win, but I actually had a good time doing it! This game takes a subject that normally puts people to sleep and makes it really fun. I wish my teachers had something like this. Thank you for the game.
