I found this extremely gratifying. The opportunity to closely examine each part of an argument was very satisfying and I've never had a video game avatar say things so close to what I actually wanted him to say before.

I noticed that a good number of the comments were grouching about the fact that they never knew what the real end of a certain argument was except through the process of trial and error. I believe that this issue can be remedied rather simply: make an aspect from the final screen in an argument differ from all the rest. It doesn't matter if it's a large difference either. I would recommend simply changing the little arrow in the bottom right into something different is all. Wonderful game by the way, it provided a solid form of entertainment with its theories, arguments, presentations, and above all else, humor!

Wow, that was stimulating, to say the least. Spent three whole hours of the early morning actually trying to figure out flaws and contradictions. Background music, character design, not so bad as well. It would be NONSENSE to say that this isn't the perfect intellectual adventure...but then again, perfection is elusive, ja?

this blew my mind, by making me realize the very conclusion that you get led to by the end of the game is in fact the most likely answer, and it does it in true socratic style, by asking questions, this game has given me genuine insight, thank you to the whole team

Played until the mid of Chapter 3.
The game seems nice but odds are the conclusions Socrates will come to are different than mine. For example if it was me the debate with the first philosopher would have followed a completely different path and conclusions.
I think the limitations of the debate paths are inherent to the genre, but the nature of morality is so debatable that as a theme it can easily be used to push towards one's (the developer's) idea. Not sure if he does indeed do so because I stopped =)

The soundtrack for this game is awesome. Is there any way I could get the track? If you uploaded it to itunes, I'd buy it. :)

I love this game. A few months after I beat it the first time, I played it again and paid more attention to the details. There's actually a reference to Ace Attorney as an example in this game with Jones thinking about how great a game it would make. I would really like a sequel or another game like this, but I don't think a sequel would have as interesting a plotline as this one.

This was challenging! (In a good way.)
Even though I'm not the brightest apple in the bunch, so I had to go get a walkthrough and I looked at it at least once every philosopher. (maybe more the more challenging they became, but that's a secret, shh)
I'm proud to say, though, that I didn't need it with Billy! I guess that would've been worrying, huh.
It was interesting and fun, nonetheless! (and may I say, I may have shed a tear when Ari said she put her life on the line for her dad.)

This is actually a pretty good introduction to basic philosophical schools and such, and I think that you are an awesome person for making this. Debate is great.

Also one of the best games I've seen on kongregate, 5/5.

but nonono the king is obliged to because the people have power over him, namely numbers, and bad kings are overuled, there is no contract, the people already have power, and handed over no responsibility in the process. I finally understand why it was so hard to disagree with Hobbes, it was because I agree with him.

I can't believe it took me this wrong to realize it. Ari is a reference to Aristotle.
Also, I still love this game, months after playing it the first time.
