Ruffle crashes after I choose my language. Tried multiple times. Keeps happening. Game is unplayable. Please fix this asap. :(

I beat athens easy on the earliest possible turn (You need to ally or defeat all the cities to win and the last city doesn't appear until turn 120)

Came back to the game under lockdown. VERY addictive. Beat it with Athens then Sparta on the hard mode. Very good game. Great job.
Hope there'll be more in the future :)

I think Sparta is easier than Athens. It is impossible to beat the Persians on hard without a LOT of RNG. However, I managed to win with full score on turn 76 on hard with Sparta. By the way, army strength does not matter against the Persians. Only numbers matter. I advise against going to war with anyone before the Persians arrive because you are using the total army of ALL of Greece against them.

If you are stuck on the language screen, and still have done all the steps you did on what you need to do if you are stuck on the language screen, you should need fps

Opened in SuperNova Player. Began playing then an Adobe Flash prompt came up asking if i would allow chat kongregate to save data to my computer. i cannot select either option and i can't clear the prompt. Unable to proceed until I do. any ideas?
This is the second of your games this has happened. other was Caravaneer 2

Sparta/easy is, well, easy to the point of me getting the win first playthrough (after failing a megaton on medium). But Sparta/medium is frikking impossible to beat off Persia, maybe unless you get alien weapons with your scout, then you could probably "sit in" and face Persians with your attack bonus. "Army strength" for spartans somehow does not get applied to defense - probably even a bug!

Athens medium looks too easy if you know what to do. Use diplomacy to conquer city-states, then once you start trading, get one deal for buying prod (mission) then one to buy slaves (+pop) and one for selling prod - you can net profit by buying prod/warriors then selling em elsewhere, if you play by city-state specialty. Store envoys for until you meet new cities, get somewhere a buy culture deal (Rhodes or Ephesus) and use that to bootstrap your culture until Philosopher's Stone, then gift everyone into submission.

I played it for a bit. Fantastic game. Only problem my mouse can't click any of the buttons anymore. I tried to reload but it wouldn't work, and yes I tried a different profile, but that one only lets me get by one year! At this point I can't play the game anymore!

by the way here's my strategy for sparta on easy:
pick national guard, you need this to beat the early game wars
1. bring everyone on the fields to increase your population, in the next 2 turns grab the tax occupation
2. bring as many people as you can to the tax occupation and bring your population to 60+
3. bring as many people as possible to the military
4. grab the gymnasium building and get as many people as possible to the military once more. get mythology and the code of laws, after this get professional army ASAP
5. after a few rounds after doing all of these steps you should get a warning about selecting some laws. select every single one, don't worry about the disadvantages (it doesn't sound worth it but trust me)
6. after a few rounds you will get a war warning, focus on invading messini after this (make sure you can win the battles)
7. get the walls building and get an alliance with the biggest army

I encountered this issue a few days ago and again on Monster Breeding, but after restarting my computer, suddenly, I can't click on anything. It works for a short period of time, but once I reach Turn 2, all the buttons stop responding. The animations work just fine, but I can't do anything.

I would love to see a next game in this series during the industrial revolution (not exactly pre-civilization, but neither is this one)

as Athens, to stop the dorian invasion you need to dismiss you army from the 150 populatin thing. dismiss until it's at 0.6 soldiers and you can't anymore

Whenever I run sparta the other city states out recruit me by massive factors and I can't take them. They also rarely attack me.

sparta campaign is easier. when playing athens you have to focus on every thing, but sparta only have to focus on military, production and gold

well that was the stupidest thing ive done playing as sparta I had exactly 200 population the alexander the great thing popped up I pressed "send slaves" which sent 200 of my population to alex and I failed instantly cause I had no one to run the farm

Imagine if we could play as other cities. Hm... maybe that's what they have in the paid Steam version. (yea i never played the Steam one)
