How to Play
>Mouse to control ship orientation
>Click to thrust forward
>Press space to lock gun forward(useful for leading your target), and then space again to switch back to auto - targeting.
>P to pause
>ESC to return to menu
Developer Updates
Cleaned up the graphics and balance and fixed some bugs. I made this game quite a long time ago, and I felt like it ought to get fixed up seeing as itโs the only thing on my profile right now. Thereโs a limit to how much I could do with a four year old engine written when I had no programming training at all, but it should be a lot more playable now.

Do have one minor control request that's not been presented here, at least one control DESCRIPTION request. Could you rewrite the Space key instructions to "Space key to TOGGLE (caps mine for emphasis) lock gun forward etc." For some reason I came in thinking it'd be a hold-down key, screwed me up a bit at first. Just in case there are any other weirdos like me, figure it'll save them some trouble :)
Alright, I changed the instructions to make them more easily understandable. Thanks for the advice.

Not bad all in all. A few things though: when you lose it's usually at the very start of a wave, because you get teleported right into an enemy. The first boss for example: either you know exactly where you have to dodge to, or you die - twice: once for being crushed and once for being shot immediately after respawn. Cheap and unsatisfying, ruins the game. Solution: either make the initial shield last longer or start new waves paused.
Shield time now tripled on boss waves. Thanks for the comment!
