This game took a different tone once I realized that all the creatures from the far end of the screen took longer to reach you than if they had merely been hovering over the terrain.
The only explanation possible would be that they are fleeing from the player.
by extension what really is happening must be that the poor octopeople are fleeing from the horrifying creature whose eyes reveal the same death that it spews to slaughter them, all the while their bravest warriors and most loyal pet's sacrifice their own life in a futile attempt to stop it.

I love how the jumps go the same height whether I click it quickly or hold it for a little bit! Way better than other games like this!

Pretty cool. I havent played through it completely yet but it can be great. Just make sure to make it smooth enough for people running on crappy computers to play. Not me but other people

the challenge is the platforming not the living, which makes the shield and double shield level ups especially useless.

I love this game and the art is amazing, with that said, the ending don't feel like an end, it needs a final boss. I would also like to see a higher level so customization, skill points with every level rather than pre-defined skills, it would provide a higher play-through level. Also more weapons, always more weapons. :D 4/5

I would have liked to be able to get higher than level ten - I've reached the level cap after something like ten minutes, that is a bit short, if you ask me. The hard mode was a bit easy, too (for a hard mode), and some more achievements wouldn't hurt either. The main issue I had was the level thing, though. Aside of that, well done.

Good game. How about a twist where you can 'delevel abilities' in exchange for alternate abilities. Like run faster instead of double shield. etc.

the moment when i touch the bottom of the screen i die, it shouldn't be, since i got double jump and i'll able to do another jump the reach the next platform.

It is a good game, 4/5, wish there was some kind of speed up option to make the progress go faster through the level, and a Damage power up for your weapon.

i suggest making it so we can choose upgrades and what not :) the rate of fire of the gun more guns anjd we can buy guns ummm power of the gun how high jump double jump triple jump and the most precious one wings :) with them you can fly for infinite of time oh and campaign and maps and stuff ^^ and that we could change characters or even be a monster :D

You should add diffrent weapons, like machine gun, duel piston uzi mini gun. That would be epic. Great game by the way. :)

you know i wish you can upgrade and get gold in this game, that is one of the natural flaws of this game, i love everything else, but i was expecting the upgrades. One of my personal favorites is minions.

Beat the normal game mode on my first try. Still kept playing. Great quick game for someone not planning on playing for hours, 5/5

I enjoyed this game so much challenging but no to much so.
I beat it without dying once which made me very happy.
As Dee4life said, more upgrades would be nice. Even if you threw in a couple in the current game before the sequel was released, I would come back and play it for sure!
All in all great job, great game, and great artwork!

Also, for triple post action, I just noticed a bug. It gave me the achievement for reaching level 11 but I only have skills up to level 8 and clearly am not level 11 or I could play hardmode.

Wowwww...and it wont let me play hardmode until level ten. I beat the normal mode game already. I'm not playing it AGAIN so I can play a version that is a remote challenge. Lowered my rating from a four to a three.

Won on my first try without being hit a single time...I did like it though. My only wish was that there were more and more difficult bosses. What did the boss even do? I feel like it should have been whipping tentacles at me at random, but it just kind of hovered at the edge of the screen.
