@N7791: Considering the more spins you do, the better rewards you get, you must be lucky cause you just increased your spin counts and probably went a tier up thanks to those free spins. I wish i could get them more often

Three days in a row, for each free spin, I get two extra spins. Just take it out of the spinwheel already, it's useless.

Suggestions: 1) Allow market search directly from a hero, limited to items of the appropriate type and level. 2) Show number of items in stock when selling to a customer. 3) In market, show equipment level, and allow sort by price/cost ratio. 4) Allow view inventory by cheapest item. 5) When showing an inventory category, show how many items owned in that category; maybe also tiny subtotals for all categories. 6) Display when a resource bin is full, even if can't collect.
Hi there, Thanks for the suggestions. A note for point 1) You can equip to your hero directly from the Trade House. Just hold down the click on the slot to prompt equipping from Trade House or Inventory.

The disconect due to inactivity is starting to piss me off. Most of the time when working on my laptop i dont use the mouse and use the trackpad only, however, i cant zoom out in-game with the trackpad (the gesture to zoom-in/out doesnt work for the game, at least not for me) so, every morning before starting to work i go get my mouse, plug it, open the game, zoom out and unplug the mouse since it bothers me to have it around then start working while playing the game on the background. Everytime i get disconected i have to go get the mouse again, plug it, zoom out, unplug it and put it away. This is very annoying.

The major issue with this game is that it insists that you spend in game currency, gems, for everything to the point where the user has to click multiple extra times inside of menus in order to not spend gems. I feel so berated by the interface pushing me to spend gems. Then to top it off there is a feature to autocraft prerequisites for items but it does not use your materials, it uses gems. So after click through all kinds of menus in order to not spend gems, they got to them anyway. Far to intrusive.
Good news! With the latest update that we pushed approximately 1hr ago, many of the UI/UX frustrations in which you have brought up here have already been alleviated. Only thing I hate the most is repair. Even with 0.3% break chance and so on those thing still happen to break after few run. Be warn to anyone who thought 0.xx% are almost safe. Never trust that .xx% thing as long as it's not completely at 0%.
Here some tips for breaking items: 1. Be sure the affinities for the item are green, both the level (shield above) and type (icon below). 2. Be sure your Hero meets the recommended power requirements. Hope this helps! :)

I have idea. Maybe useing better quality components than we need (like sacrificing flawless or great low-tier gear in recipe) would give us bigger chance to craft better quality items? Fe. Fur gloves qould ahve bigger chance to be better quality if made from great/flawless gloves?

I think you should put in where you can put money on upgrading your stuff like your your work benches and leveling your shop like the town so when you like saving up 5mil for upgrading your shop it take to long and you'll spend it sometimes I think this would help out alot

why am i waiting until level 12 to be able to make leather(the item everyone keeps requesting)??? why is it costing me money to fix items??? why is it costing money to unlock chests?? why does it take so long to gain resources?? you realize im not going to pay you until i get some kinda game from you...
Hi there, did you know you can fire one of the starting workers and hire on a worker with the appropriate skill for armor/clothes? This is a strategy many players have been taking to work down different lines of recipes.
For tips on items breaking: Please make sure both affinities (level above/item type below) are both green. This will help decrease the chance of breaking on a quest.
Chest can be unlocked in a couple of ways. Gems and keys (available through quest and roulette) can both be used to open these items. Additionally, many of the chest blueprints can be earned through the Blueprint Fragment system.
If you would like to produce resources faster, we suggest upgrading the appropriate building in town as that will not only increase this permanently at different levels, but also adds a temporary boosts.

line for line copy of a few other shop sims. this one just added the pay for everything feature. also severely restricts how much you can actually do right away, unless you want to pay some cash of course. sorry, but im not paying cash just so i can collect herbs or make armor some time in the next year.
Hello, the entire game is designed so you can work through the content with time and effort. While gems can be used to skip level restrictions, these features can be unlocked at different levels and gems can be earned for free during gameplay. @Darvious: Here is an extract of the "about us" page of kongregate. "If you’re a developer, don’t you fret - we’ll treat you right. We’re here to help you do what you do, and make more money doing it." So... yeah. there are free games but is not deditaced only to them. Also, why you think kongregate creted the kreds currency? Some games are more free-user-friendly than others and i dislike cashgrab games but its their way to make a living and its totally fine. After all, its just a product released by a company like a soda, chips, smartphones, etc.

Kreds store, huh? Nope, been down that road before. Ya play the game a little while, and before you know it, you're barely progressing because of some money-grab system. Not even gonna start playing the game, just gonna give it the good old automatic 1/5. This is Kongregate... A website supposedly dedicated to FREE games.

You should improve trade house's interface and mechanism soon.If someone need tons items,I believe he will keep click it multiple times buy it,but for now system only show 'This item no longer valid' when item's price changed,it's too late and meaningless for buyer.He still has high chance buy something with 100x or higher price item then bankrupt and leave your game.

The game's art is good, but it's weighed down by the freemium shenanigans, poor pacing, and tablet/phone interface. As it stands, this is just a pretty meh Swords and Potions 2 ripoff.
Make the interface more PC friendly, make expansions and new workers come earlier and cheaper, and add in free options for cosmetics and shop decorations, and the game will be much better off.
Some of the feedback on pacing as well as cosmetic and decorative items for your avatar and shop respectively are coming in the next couple of updates. Stay tuned!

@xandramas while it is true that Rouleau founded both companies, Edgebee and Cloudcade, they are different companies, so technically, this was not done by the same studio, but did have similar developers.

This game does resemble Swords & Potions on many levels. But honestly, I am getting more enjoyment from Shop Heroes than S&P. I know it is not very moral to steal someone else's work, but hey Shop Heroes just "borrowed" the general idea of the game, the rest is their own work. I don't see why someone can't copy something from others, but ultimately make it better.

When I started playing this game I was surprised to see how every inch of it, from the mechanics to the charcters, was a direct copy to Swords&Potions, hell they even copied the moneygrabbing. I feel ashamed for this developer's lack of creativity and if I was Edgebeestudios I would sue him/her for copyright infringement. Have no doubt guys, all the money the dev could make out of this game will be ill gotten and I deem this dev a thief. Now to the actual game..it has better stuff compared to S&P, like you dont have to wait half an hour to keep playing after you run out of days, but they still do that resource waiting bs, so yeah, the same wait to play mechanics, you can invest some money to make the wait faster so yey, also the customers will wait forever in the shop and wont get mad at you when you dont have a certain item so you can craft them in the spot.

There needs to be a way to see the item level when crafting. I shouldn't have to hunt to find what level an item is, especially when the break rate is tied to item level + hero level.

actually can you smooth out the resource use, ie 1-20 t1, 20-30 t2, 30-40 t3.. unless your actually putting t4 resources into the game. then your progression would actually make sense. Also.. Recipies with super rare ingrediants. -- Making Mythical items?

I've put a ton of hours into this on my phone and it's actually a really great game, not too greedy for being a F2P game either! As others have said the new repair button is awful but other than that a fantastic game.

The REPAIR button at the end of the quest is annoying. Whoever thought it was a good idea needs to go back to game design 101. A user interface is meant to be as hassle free as possible! The fewer clicks and keystrokes to do something, the better!

when an item upgrades to a higher quality on the collection click in the shop please let us just click outside the box to accept instead of moving the mouse over to click accept every time you collect an item. Its cumbersome to click all of your items only for it to not register your clicks because it upgraded.

Thank you for your reply, Cloudcade, about the terrible and tedious new REPAIR button. I'm sure your UI team thought more people would spend gems for those repairs. I, for one, use quests IN ORDER TO break items I don't want. As for the increased number of clicks it generates, the UI Team should really test what they implement, it is simply maddening.
