has great potential but really need to get a little more money for the kills. As you get into the upper 30s it gets real hard to continue because you can't get enough money to upgrade or buy enough towers to keep killing. And this was on easy.

Could anyone tell me how to beat high scores in this game?: P My top score is something near to 40k points. Lasers and miniguns + magnets, lightnings, freeze towers, stuns, few other strategies... I just don't know how to beat it: P

Verynice to see a good old school TD. Has tons of things absolutely right, the only complaint i have is the monetary system needs to be updated a bit. Getting 1-2 bonus gold post wave 50 is like a slap in the face. Also for the extreme /armor/regen/boss/ monsters, the gold needs to be upped a bit OR lower tower upgrading. When a full wave of 10 monsters only gives 200 gold and your next upgrade is 200+ gold, you literally must do 2 waves an upgrade. But HP and armor seems to be going up every 5-10 waves. You can't get a great or decent score beyond easy due to the monetary being off a bit.

@JPDogao: Calling waves early increases the points from zombies, as well as giving an additional early-wave bonus of max 100 points.

Could anyone give me a hint on what exactly increases scores? I've got very different scores for towers, for example, and higher scores living through wave 120 than 150, for example. Any help there, developer? Thank you!

After playing nearly every tower defense game in the www, I would say that this one is one of the most best I played a while. There are realy cool upgrades I love, like the link between two or more electric towers. I miss a little that I cant see my own highscore to beat it. But thats peanuts! Definitly a 5/5! ! ! Thanks to the creator!

I reached wave 73 in the urban with insane. Okay here is a tactic:
I started with machine gun and one turret. I brought turret just for first 4-5 level.Just upgrade your machine gun until level 3. In the level 3, buy armor reducer miner. But you should place the machine gun and miner at middle left side of the map. By this way, you can cover all of the killing area with armor reducer. Then Upg your machine gun and miner until level 4. Buy one anti air in front of machine gun and buy a frost to left side of it.
After you reached level 5 at most of the weapons, you buy buzzsaw or electric and corpx. You can reach easy without losing a life until wave 50-60. Just use corect spots for weapons.

see that you been updating the game, but you don't seem to listen to what the gamers suggest, too bad. You could have had a great game otherwise...

@OutlawZz: Actually Lasers are better then Linkage on Urban, I've made it to wave 122 with a link and wave 152 with Lasers (+CorpX, Magnet a few stunners, a Minigun and an Ice). Start with lv1 Cannon at 9,5 (don't upgrade) then build a Minigun at 5,7 and upgrade that over time, make sure you have a lv4 (or a Magnet) at the time of the first Project-X boss. Then you buy an Ice at 6,8 and start bulding Lasers, later you buy a CorpX and a few Stunners. It's still a challenge to get things right, so keep experimenting.
I did not do the high score tests on Urban, but from what he sent me, it has a lot to do with stunning zombies, corpx and a huge lightning linkage, he has gotten over 80k. I can not say that is the only way, as I have had success with a laser strategy on urban.
You can definitely get all of the medals on all of the maps. We have gotten them all, but it requires really good timing, and a lot of attention to targeting.

Finally. A true example of what hell is supposed to be like. Don't get me wrong, I am too afraid to leave easy mode :P

Nice one, but i'd suggest to increase bounty for enemies a little. When you call waves in early, there should be extra money, too.

@Issoulenir: First of all you need a lv5 Lightning-tower (shooter) to initiate a link. For one tower to link another it needs to be inside the range. A contributing tower will link if it doesn't have a target of its own to fire at...but you can select to have it link only by targetting "LINK". Or even easier; choose "LINK ME" on the Lv5 and all towers that can connect will be set to "LINK" and form an optimal chain. There's a small exponential increase in damage growing with the length of the chain. The bonus power really starts to come into play around 30 towers. A Lv5 shooter with a full link of 64 Lv1's will deliver a punch of 16.467 damage (13.047 in exponential bonus) on the first hit. An upgraded link can reach damages of +50.000. Have fun!

@Tolrick: The Ice-tower damage is just a little bonus, it's main purpose is to slow zombies. The game is perfectly balanced over time since zombie stats follow a mathematical curve, which obviously is exponential to make sure the game eventually outruns the player. Make sure you kill the Abo's quickly as they will heal over time.

while a very good, well polished game, balance at later levels is pretty much nonexistant. I'm good at TDs, I play them a lot. I have yet to finish -any- of the maps to a respectable degree. Zombes gain strength faster than your ablity to damage them.. ok, it's supposed to be an eventually losing battle, I get that. But it shouldn't be so noticable so soon. Having 'Abominations' show up so early that all you can possibly do is watch them walk past? Huliing brutes that shrug off everything? Losing lives should be a gradual thing, but more based on not developing towers properly, bad setup or pgrading choices. Not arbitrarily because the game forces you to lose life at set intervals.

the ice tower version is horribly broken. Ice towers do so little damage it's impossible to actually stop everything. Slowed down is good, but zombies traditionally walk slow, so it doesn't really help if you can't DO DAMAGE!

@Iampureevil1: It does prioritize and shoots first if no prio is within range, only "Coming" and "Going" are exclusive special modes. And then there's "None" which simply inactivates the tower.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Great game.
Change "Target Priority" to "Only Target" if you're going to make it only target those modes. Or make it actually PRIORITIZE. As in if it can't shoot at it's target priority it should shoot at whatever it can, perhaps automatically prioritizing first.
