I wish that we could connect the tiles diagonally and I also got confused at first because the tutorial was not very clear to me. The small grid makes it challenging but hey, its a cool game :) 3/5

way too hard because of def slot(why loose 1 turn and take free damage? this isn't usefull) and heal slot ;you had immunity to ennemi :you need too much turn to kill your ennemi...then you die.

You have to continue with a color if there are others of the same next to it, not always a good choice...Victory screen doesn't show the progress to next level properly (is always a full bar) and it's not very hard to program the stats of the equipped items next to other items (or the difference) to compare them more easily with comparable items to buy or given as battle drop

So wait... once you beat the game, you can't go back and try for gold trophies??? Now I'm pissed. You can't keep completionist gamers from finishing EVERYTHING.

It seems when you get to chapter 7, the game after a time will slow down then freeze or crash. And I apparently (after reading through the comments) am not the only one. And this looks like it's been a problem since 4 YEARS AGO. Seriously? Guess these are developers who create a game, launch it, then NEVER come back to it again. Guess anyone who has suggestions/bug reports is just wasting their time... (And they all do seem to repeat themselves, the grid being to small and needing a reset button in battle are the other 2 big ones...)

Ok it needs a restart or menu button during the fight, and it should be possible to attack all enemies at once somehow...

For me, it seems whatever is the creature if they are on same level they do same damage and take same damage, nothing special. :(

I like how it was an attempt at a new idea. A little random, and Chapter 8 was easier than Chapter 6 and 7. I kept leveling, and the enemies didn't. I ran warrior, and I put all my points into the skill that shreds armor. That way, every 3 rounds or so, I was able to just eliminate one of the enemies since one of them usually was only one color. It really did help a lot.

I miss an overview of your own skill points without any boosts. You're basically spending points on the lowest stat, without knowing what your worsed stat is. Also, you cannot zoom in, which makes for some intense moments of peaking through squinted eyes to discern the colours of the health bars of your opponents. The selection of the target is sometimes tricky and could be greatly improved. Other than that, nice game.

It's not a bad idea and I kind of liked it, but one thing that did really annoy me is that after beating the final boss I could not go back in and replay that last fight to get gold. I had gold on every level up to that point and that just .... ruined it. :(

@Joe Cassano The trophies are different from the ones in achievements. You're supposed to finish a battle in the allotted number of moves to earn the trophies for the trophy shop. Yea, it's confusing since they look the same.

I've.. achieved 10 achievements, yet I got only 4 "statuettes" that one gets to spend in "TROPHY shop." That's annoying.. I am not sure how to fix it cause I sorta despire CheatEngine. :/ Like the game otherwise..

@wasteb: Heals and shields can't be chained above 3, looks like chaining 3 together ends your turn even if you start with a combo piece.

i assume this is a bug, not sure if it was reported, but combo square doesn't let you chain onto another color after heal.
combo->heal->heal->heal->completes turn

needs to have a restart button because if you get a bad combo you only get one or two new squares a turn. A way to fix this is having the ability to lose your turn to get a new set of blocks

slow down after a while, dificult to select enemies (hit zones), long casting animations (choppy gameplay) -> overall great concept but bad coding 2/5

I feel there should be a way of targeting more than one enemy. If an enemy is at 1HP I want to be able to finish him but also I don't wanna lose one turn just to attack him once. Or am I missing something?

Easy tips to get the hard badge:
- Play manipulator: Max third skill first, followed by first skill.
- Invest into two attributes to max out through items (Martial and Melee worked for me)
- Save up combo blocks that are not invested into; and use the conversion to one of your invested attributes for big combos
- Save stat points for when you need them (end stage you should invest stat points into HP, as it gives you 2 HP per stat versus 1 to the other attributes)
I cleared the game without using any of the power ups.
