Great game, better than the first in some ways, worse in others. There are definitely some balance issues with the weapons, the colt pistol is better than all of the SMGs... And the ending was really disappointing. "It's over, I lose." Or.. "It's over, I win." Lame.

The fact that this has violence makes me want to stay away from it. Boxhead wasn't gory, neither was Thing-Thing. This is one of the goriest games I've seen on here and I don't really like it that much, even without the gore. It's the same as a lot of shooting games, just with different graphics and storyline

myself w/ hunting rifle main and chainsaw aux plus one survivor with a magnum made it all the way through jonestown.
youd think if the survivors have the sense to leave before the baricade is even destroyed, theyd have the sense to dodge a freaking cleaver

A really nice improvement compared to Last Stand(wich also was a real good game),I wonder if the glitch is transfered over to this game =p
Some tips for survival:
1.Reload after each wave
2.Chainsaw as secondary
3.KillKillKillKillKillKillKillKillKillKill!!!

way to easy once you get a sniper. honestly all i used was a magnum and the sniper and cleared everything the whole way through ez as pie
though it seems that most of complainers cant grasp the concept of taking 1/10 a second to aim for the head though dogs getting into the very bottom where you have to be right next to them to shoot are really really annoying.. almost lost because i didnt see the bastard.

I had only one survivor most of the way. They suck at shooting; I gave the an UMP .45 and they semi-auto'd it! So to make them kill faster, I gave them a magnum. The chainsaw owns in this game. You can't survive without it.

Way too much wrong with this game. Glitches, too dark, the only weapon you need is the chainsaw, most of the weapons are just about useless, the random factor of town searches is so slanted towards bad luck you can go multiple rounds without finding anything.

some nice additions to the original formula. the only problem i had was, when i aimed at a zombie's legs, sometimes it shot him in the chest (annoying when shooting army soldiers). otherwise, very nice.

This game is freaking awesome!!
Stop complaining just coz you suck. The pause is the button down the bottom left so stop winging. Maybe if you aimed properly also the bullets might hit maybe? I hate people complaining coz they just are bad at a game.
I love the game system, the explorable towns and weaponry. The bow was definitely a great addition to the arsenal. Better than the first

This game has so much coolness and potential that is hampered by some seriously inexcusable bullshit:
1) No mute, no pause... wtf? Is this NES?
2) Fast-running zombies are nearly upon me by the time the screen transitions onto the level. Remember the first game? How it gave you a second? Yeah, that was nice.
3) The "retry" button should let you... ummm... try a level again. NOT play a level again WHILE ALL THE PEOPLE THAT DIED ARE STILL DEAD!!!
Believe it or not, there is a lot more bitching to be done, but these are the salient points and the rest are probably things about which I disagree with the designers on and not actual mistakes on their parts.

I really disliked this game, I thought it was buggy and frustrating to play. A number of times I had zombies walk straight through my bullets and chainsaw without getting hit. This was particularly annoying when they killed one of my hard earnt survivors. I really want the card but I just can't stand to play this piece of shit any longer.

also if you get to retry it should be a RETRY....
not a if you lost a guy he stays dead and if you used a trap its gone....aside from ALLL of that, it'd be a good game......
sadly....it isn't....
