as soon as you pick up the gun and melee weapon and go to the next street the screen turns yellow and you cant see anything to be able to play the game. you can still shoot and walk and all but pointless if you cant see enemies

@dmcmikey There actually is a Console release for a Last Stand title called Aftermath, it released in November 27 2021, it's on Steam and Consoles, unfortunately Deadzone did not get a revive and Aftermath is Single Player.

Well played this again after years. played a little slower but i'm on laptop but still a great zombie game. wish there was a continuation of this story as its the classic boat stops working when we escape cliche, still one of the greatest zombie games next to l4d2 for being how short it is, get its a flash game but still wish there was more areas and a longer story and playtime

honestly, i would end that game years ago if it werent for those "random" instances with the zombies falling from the ceiling..
Its like, if you run into one and there are only the slim zombies, youre good, but when you encounter a pack of those fat ones that need many hits to kill, youre toast...

i cant do enough dps to even reach the first area in the game with houses
i want to run i.t for security medical and smarts but i just cant do enough damage straight away
was this even remotely tested for gameplay and difficulty?
because i dont think it has
making this a boring and frustrating game as opposed to being fun
though there are people that enjoy this kind of challenge i think so im just a grumpy player

i have the same problem with copanions dying on me it never used to be like that. i stoped caring a long time ago as long as i survive lol

If you want to play the game, put supernova://play?swfurl=http://chat.kongregate.com/gamez/0012/5407/live/TheLastStand-UnionCity.swf?kongregate_game_version=1318554451 in the web url if you've got supernova installed. A small window will appear that you can't resize and it does get laggy when the usual ceiling zombie horde appears mid-game, but aside from that, the game works as intended.

This game was my childhood, I've replayed it so many times and it never gets old. Happy the devs were able to make a full fledged game and release it on all platforms. They deserve the success.
