Just a note to other commenters: This is supposed to be an easy set of puzzles, it says 'Light Vol 1' in the title. For people who've never seen a Hashi puzzle before, its a good introduction. If you want more, check out the Conceptis website or wait for Vol 2 :)

Conceptis comes to Kongregate? That's just full of 'win'! Let's see more of the excellent Conceptis logic puzzles here on Kong! The save times are a bit slow but since it is saving server-side so you can play on any computer, its forgiven. 4/5 for a great job!

@prinzovdarkness, if you need to "pause" you can save it, close the whole browser if you wish, then come back and load it later. This is pretty much just as easy as pausing, and it's better too.

for those who didn't already know this one: Hashi Ex Machina
it generates a random hashi up to 32x32 (which are very challaging). Try that one too! I like it better!
But still this one gets 5/5

The rules are hard to explain, but once I got the hang of it I was hooked. Please change "New Game" to "Level Select."

holy crap this game is amazing, I was so sick of sudoku and was looking for something similar (small, yet challenging). I understand this concept is not new and the creator didnt come up with it on his/her own, but still I do love the game! 5/5

Its funny how you can complete all of these puzzles with pure logic and practicly no guessing at all. Impressive puzzles - waiting for more.

For anyone wanting to know, the sound track is John Cage's 4'33" (en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Four_Minutes_Thirty_Three_Seconds)

Nice interface and game, new to me if not original and generally well implemented. I'm looking forward to another Japanese (at a guess?) puzzle getting people addicted! It's good funa dn good for the brain too! :) Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to playing Volume 2! :)

Interesting clever puzzle, I especially love the debugging part, when I make mistake and start to retracing my steps and start fixing faulty branches.

Basic logic game. Not difficult but it is a Lite version. I rather like these sorts of games.
Not very flashy, but it is certainly functional.

I was like "Wha the ...?!?" so level 1 first one took me 59 sec to figure out, every other level one under 25 sec. Nice puzzle game, had never heard of them before now.

i accidently left for the weekend with this running and got 68 hours on one of them. can you please make a pause button?

It's nice to see Conceptis getting some credit for once. I wasn't too happy with the stripped down nonogram interface, compared to the one on your site, but this was much better. I'll always give any Japanese logic puzzle a 5/5 (besides Sudoku, which I'm sick of), but I can't see one ever getting badges. Looking forward to your Kakuro on Kong in the future.

I thought the layout of islands was supposed to be rotationally symmetrical. That doesn't stop this from being a good game, though.

I like this this puzzle :), but with that said you allready see the next comment comming; This game is to easy please make a lvl 4 as the last of lvl 3 is still solved extremely fast.

The user interface is far too fiddly. To make a bridge, you must move the mouse over a number, move off that number and click. This could easily be redesigned so you just need to click in the right place to build a bridge and that would be much more intuitive for the user. Think about it: in what other application does it matter how you move the mouse *before* clicking. Click and drag is common and natural; point, move and click just feels weird.

when i first played this game i was annoyed at how complex the puzzle sceme was, and i very quickly became violently addicted to watching the bridged gaps come together into one solid structure. now, a little over 2 years later i have printed, solved in pencil and hung on my wall over 600 puzzles from a random generator that assigns each puzzle with its own number. i'm trying to collect every puzzle from 1,2,3, etc through the random generator, and the highest one i have so far is 5,463. hashiwokakero is in fact, the best thing in the universe

At last - one of my favourite puzzles is here. An ideal game for the odd five minutes, and a 'proper' puzzle, relying on thought and logic.

I like it, but it would be much nicer if there were a way to use a few trial line types. If it were pencil and paper, I would be using dashed or dotted lines for tentative experimentation to look for logical contradictions.

only thing i dont like about this game is the "check" and "show solution" function.... When a puzzle lets you cheat without any consequence, the feeling of achivement is somewhat diminished even after completeing the level without any hints.

These have got to be the most inefficient transportation systems in existence. Can you imagine living on a group of islands where, in order to get to an island practically next to you diagonally, you have to hop across seven other completely out-of-the-way islands?

I was completely lost at what to do, so I read the "How to Play". I was still very confused, just placing random bridges everywhere. Not knowing what to do, I read the "Rules" and immediately found out what to do. I ended up completing the 1st puzzle in 2:03~. The second puzzle I completed in 0:18, and I redid the first puzzle in 0:17. Please redo the "How to Play" instructions, as well as merging some of the "Rules" into it because it will confuse players on how to play.
