How many people have actually read the rules? THERE IS ONLY ONE SOLUTION. If you think there is more than one solution, you didn't read the rules properly. You probably have a 2x2 wall in there. Or the walls probably aren't all continuous. What I'm trying to say here is, don't think your solution is automatically right. CHECK IT FIRST. I am tired of people being ignorant and conceited. A normal person would think that if it's not accepted then it's wrong, then try to find out why by clicking the check button. Which you should have done instead of posting a comment that there is another solution.

@scurvy135, @RDDDIB, @JackLFrost - I am searching as much as I can, but by following the rules, I can only find one solution to both of these 1st puzzles. Please tell me which two cells you switched to find a 2nd good solution because I simply don't see it. Be sure not to violate the 2x2 black rule.

First thing I do when I see a level is look for obvious black square points. Above, below, and both sides of a 1 clue get filled in. Any numbers that are diagonally next to each other have to be kept apart. So do any pairs of numbers that only have 1 empty space between them. Hope this helps :)

Always keep the black ones in mind! Hint1: If there is a black block in the corner than think for possible 'escape paths'. Hint2: If there are only 2 possibilities for last white block of an 'island', the diagonal in between leads to a black block.

There is only one solution for each level. If you think you found multiple solutions, you're likely not following the rules of the game.

You need to read both "the rules" and "how to play" in order to figure out how to actually play and win. After I figured it out, it was a decent game.

When it says "check the walls" - the outer walls of the square count too, so make sure not to form any pockets on the sides. This would create two looping paths of walls.

Read well the rules: each puzzle has a unique solution, if you find a different one, you have mistakes. In my opinion this is the best of conceptis puzzles

I had to re-read the rules a few times to get my head straight, but i knocked out most of the 6x6es with ease after that. These puzzles allow for more trial and error than the usual, sudoku-style, deductive reasoning puzzles. Well done.

I've heard people say that Nurikabe is harder than the other conceptis puzzles,
But its the only one I can actually do! Go figure.

I agree with Scurvy135, I found another solution to puzzle 2 just by switching two cells but it is not being accepted. It does not violate any rules: it was just innocently overlooked by the creator. Tsalnor, you are probably going to insult me for spotting a mistake. Don't bother.

This is game is truly bullshittery...
you think you got it and still dont got it because the game wants "the islands" to be shaped another way. but in your way you got it right too... total dislike

The rules are simple, but it took me all of this "demo" to really figure out how to play. I want more, which is the point of a demo, but I wish Conceptis was more reasonably priced for those of us who binge this sort of puzzle game.

I finished the 1st puzzle of the easy selection with a different outcome but the game didn't recognize it. I triple checked it to make sure i wasnt being stupid. Please make sure that the puzzles will either be accepted with different solutions or make them so that they cant have alternate solutions.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
In the first 2 problems you can solve it multiple ways but only 1 will be accepted. Check it for yourself and you'll see them. This is problematic.

Unless I'm missing something, there appears to be more than one solution to these, but if it isn't exactly the way the puzzle creator wanted it solved, you're considered wrong. This is a no go in my book. 1/5 and I love the other Conceptis puzzles.

The first level has at least two possible solutions, but the game only acknowledges one. Assuming that this is continuing throughout the game: 1/5.

This is a great game, unfortunately, it's very easy to cheat. You can just fill all spaces in, then click hint and undo all the mistakes. Doing that, you could probably finish the ten by tens in thirty seconds.

@daerdevil and everyone else who thinks there's more than one solution: there's not. I was confused too at first, but the black area has to form a CONTINUOUS PATH. ie every black square has to be touching at least one other black square.

in the first puzzle I found two solutions, the one I found first being with the 4 square island going out one beside the '4' then going down two and ending at the bottom edge. the second one had one square above the '4' then one to the right of the '4' and one more down. The game only accepted the second solution even though the first one did not violate any rules as far as I can see. try it out and see

Your Nurikabe is broken. There should be a move limiter to disallow cheating. IE fill the matrix and check solution. My average time with a 12 x 12 on paper is about 5 minutes, 3 with a 10 x 10. Given the direct notice of your "error gen", one could finish any of the 10 x 10 "puzzles" in well under 30 seconds.
