Under rating threshold (show) Of course, you always have to use the "if I have 5 empty spots in a row and 1 X remaining, it must go in the middle" type of logic to keep things flowing...

Under rating threshold (show) The 6x6s and (most of) the 8x8s can be solved simply by avoiding 3-in-a-row and following the logic. For the 10x10s, when you feel stuck start double-checking the rows and columns for potential identicals. You *never* have to guess, though sometimes it feels that way. Often a missing pair of spots has to be O-X instead of X-O to avoid making an identical row/column.

Under rating threshold (show) Trivia: The number of possible rows and columns for each grid size is given by sequence A177790 on the OEIS.

Under rating threshold (show) Oh awesome. Another one of these games that I have to grind through mindlessly for the easy badge. They just go on for too long for me, and it's painful.

Under rating threshold (show) I really like the game, but is hard to concentrate on the board with the rows highlighting because i naturally rest my mouse either to the right or at the bottom. Could you create something that turns off the 'pinning' if needed?

Under rating threshold (show) @wryyy: In 6x6 puzzle #4, the second row is the same as the last column, so I suppose the rows and columns can be the same, so the "difference" rule only applies to columns to other columns, and rows to other rows.

Under rating threshold (show) Saw the game, recognized the dev from past games and jumped in with both feet. Finished the first lvl puzzles and started into lvl 2 and wondered if I was missing something - it seemed like a lot of trial and error. THEN read the comments, THEN read the rules, THEN it became a fun puzzle (went back and did everything the "right" way). Looking forward to more!

Under rating threshold (show) There is a way to get the cells pre-set to show as such: Just click on them and drag off them. They stay red :P

Under rating threshold (show) Just got a double solution on the very first 10x10, you can swap the middle cells of the very top and bottom columns and it's still valid.

Under rating threshold (show) @kirayamagami; every puzzle has exactly one solution. If you think you have more, check for double rows or collumns because one of your solutions is wrong.

Under rating threshold (show) I'd make it clearer in the instructions that diagonals don't matter. The title's a bit misleading.

Under rating threshold (show) All puzzles can be solved without guessing. Keep in mind that there can not be 3 X/O's in a row, there are an equal number of X/O's in each row/column (3/3, 4/4, 5/5 depending on the size of the puzzle) and no two rows or two columns can be the same.

Under rating threshold (show) Every single puzzle is solve-able by logic. If stuck, pin a column and check it against the others. It will change the highlighted colour if the column is identical, giving you another clue was to how to solve it. Can be done by checking without the pining, but the built-in tool is helpful.

Under rating threshold (show) Favourited. Five stars. Rarely does a logic puzzle like this come along. It would be nice if you could put a small x or o as a placemarker, in order to work through a possibility. (hoping that makes sense)

Under rating threshold (show) Important for anyone trying the "guess and check" method, or solving in general: No two rows or columns can be the same. So, before you say your solution is "correct", check for repeat rows and columns.

Under rating threshold (show) You can see if a line is correct because it shows green when you did it right, and wrong when its not right, meaning its pretty easy to beat it without logic, and just trying out different solutions, quickly checking if they are correct or not.
