In life, the ones we love make everything better. Friends and companions add a quality of light to something that would otherwise be meaningless. Life is all about your relationships, and it's true that if you get too close to people you'll just get hurt.
People move. People change. Everyone does it, no matter how much they hate it. It's not cheating to move from friend to friend. No one can guarantee a return after a goodbye. That is a sadness of life, but from this is the great thought drawn as we all have heard in the old adage: "it is better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all."

A few little nit-picky issues with the game. Though other squares theoretically don't like to share, I don't see them behaving any differently. Everything just goes in slow motion. Also, is true happiness really felt by having as many partners as possible? Not the best moral.

Great game, though it seems like it should be called "Playing the Field" or "Commitment-Phobic" or something. If it's supposed to be Love, shouldn't the goal be to figure out which square gives the most happiness, and then crash into it on purpose, not knowing whether it would give a huge bonus or a game over? I guess that wouldn't be as interesting to play, though. The important thing is, it's a fun game. 4/5

If there's one thing I learned from this game, it's that all the people saying "Love is seeing everything through pink shades" or "red is the colour of love" don't know what they're talking about. The real magoc only starts when things go green :D

This is one of those games that got badges added with an unneeded required amount of points which got labelled as "hard" which has ruined the entire games point and really taken the fun out of actually playing this flash game for, fun. Should have been atleast 2k points less, as it currently stands with how RNG based the game is, I mean look at it, 300k easy badge, 20k "hard" badge in an eight year old game. its not hard at all to get the badge, its just perserverance because of how rng each playthrough can be, and that's all you end up caring about, the score, not the games message or anything :/

I can't for the life of me get the hard badge. But it looks perfectly pitched -- it feels achievable (I've come close) but hard, which is exactly what it ought to be.

I don't think the game is trying to TELL you what love IS. It is a tool, a mirror to our concepts that allows exploration of its many forms and intricacies - as it exists in each of us. Notice the comments reflecting this. Some see romantic love, and thus promiscuity, others see universal love and thus a coming together as one enriching each other, bringing everyone into the fold, etc, etc, etc. I think this is an excellent little piece of elegance and my hat off to the its creator. Simply love it.

So the faster you gain happiness, the faster you spin...yet all the other squares stop spinning and focus on you when you get close enough. Does that mean that I'm preventing them from being happy?

Badge Ideas - Medium "Feelin' the Love" Hold all squares at once for 5 seconds. Hard - "Whole Lotta Attraction" Score 50,000 points in one game. Easy - "I Like You More" - Hold the same square for 30 seconds

This game is amazing...it's so relaxing...but later level intense...it has so much message it brings out in the most simplistic form. The musical notes varying from each additional "Others" that you are attached to is very creative. Love the color of the background when touching "Others" too~ The tips are the best part of the game...lessons to be learn~ felt that there's someone there to understand you. Really cool game :) 5/5 Hoping for a sequel~~ Hope that it'll be very different yet amazing like this one~ Great work Contrebasse!

Tips for hard badge: Try to stay connected to others as long as possible, always be connected to at least 2 squares. If it's even a bad connection, get it without losing others. Be careful; once you get to about 10-12,000 points, not being connected with anybody is dangerous, as the shapes move EXTREMELY fast. Keep that up and you can get the badge quick! Rate + to keep alive!

it would be nice to have different types of shapes like triangles and circles that make different styles of sounds and have different properties e.g. less points at the start but the longer you stay with them the more you get or a lot more but decreases in size and points etc. great game, only not too replayable after about 5 minutes 4/5

fantastic metaphors. Needs to be taken deeper. Much Deeper. Have you considered integrating more music, more interactable areas, some sort of point a to point be journey, and omg if you could level. . . or upgrade. . . hold on i need to find a towel. ..
