@pchz - My guess is that the person held captive is Sue and since Rick didn't approve much with what she's was doing (as said in the postcard), Rick went and tied her up for whatever sick reasoning he has in mind. (such as listening to him do opera or something)

Should've lit the broom on fire and waved it at the detector. Otherwise, there isn't a reason for it to be there. Like a stage play, every prop must have a purpose.

excellent escape game - all the puzzles made sense, fun with a minimum of pixel-hunting thanks to the changing cursor.

The mouse pointer changing every single time is not very effective. I don't know if it was only for me but it made the game seem slower
