Sure wish it was at least a little more intelligent. I mean, what 6 letter word in the world could POSSIBLY start with bz? Cmon now, thats just a filler at that point.

"To be idle is a short road to death, and to be diligent is a way of life. Foolish people are idle, wise people are diligent". Does that mean we (including the Developer) are all idiots? Way to trash your own game man!! ...so cool!

@JoyReactorMan: yes, language has to be reformed.
I doubt russian "yo" ("ё") will be obsolete: unlike hard sign at the end of a word, it is functional: pronounced differently from similar "ye" ("е"), and present in some very common words (e.g. "все - всё" --- "everyone - everything"); some are confused by those who do not use "yo", so current official position is that using it is obligatory in texts for children and foreigners. And public opinion did not change much in last 30 years.
IMO allowing "ye" instead of "yo" was mostly typewriters optimization accident (in early XX).
Fun thing: words pronounced with "yo" instead of "ye" appeared because of confusion.
My point: for english to use special letters for "sh", "th" instead of adapting latin with "Q","C"and"K" seems logical. Probably latin had good PR.
Btw, cyrillic for "sh" is "ш", "th" sound is not present in russian (it was used before, greek "θ", but they got rid of it altogether with hard sign at the end of words).

@BlackOpsDudeII: 262 scribes (well, that was mostly right mouse button test), 212 writers, 200 authors; others --- 140-110-100-100.
Ran game in the office being afk (over night and over weekend). Sold combinations ("Convert") up to couple of trillions to buy that; reset "Convert" (one-time thing). Calculated what's more efficient to buy, but very roughly.
Current lps of one helper (scribe etc.; no longer increases after 200), at max: 3814; 38142; 152568; not max: 7628; 4577; 11595; 30513. Price: 7.42B; 10.31B; 148.12B; 5.97B; 3.37B; 9.34B; 78.45B.
So, you at least can estimate what is better to buy. Price progression is different for different helpers, but exponential in every case. Knowing upgrades and achievements in advance (like +10% or +50%) would have been useful, sorry for not keeping notes.

@dpbmehx, @mattman2005 Before XX century, Russians ended most words with 'hard sign'- a letter with no sound, just to show that previous letter pronounced hard. After 1918 they changed grammar and 'hard sign' is almost not used. The same now with letter ':e' ('yo') - people use it less and soon it will become absolete. It takes about 30 years to change the grammar customs of people.

@mattman2005, @JoyreactorMan: english language is hardly one thousand years old and it does not have its own alphabet, it took latin alphabet "as is". They used cool letters like þ, ð, ƿ, ȝ, æ and œ before "Modern English" (about year 1500) though. Anyway, "or", "sh", "ch" are no more ok than "q" in my opinion: when you use supposedly cool (latin) alphabet instead of using letters crafted for your language, you get what you get. For a different example: when cyrillic alphabet was created, they did not just take greek alphabet without substantial changes, they reworked it (late 9th century), and it still required some changes, including adding a new letter in late 18th century. It would be fun if new, special, alphabet for those speaking english natively were created: what would foreigners do?

No longer fun at "akldwu-sn-", last word --- "airlifting", last quote --- some crap from some american; 45.38M lps; 95/133 quotes, 40584/51361 words, 175/216 upgrades, 101/120 achievements. Combinations: 10.87T current, 17.13T total.

@JoyreactorMan, I totally agree. Our entire language is pretty messed up with how letters can easily change their sound with no real indication of how they should be pronounced. Such as "book" and "boom" has the same spelling except for the last letter, but the "o"s between the two sound much different. But, we've had this vocabulary for 1,000s of years, so it would take a massive effort to try to change this for the entire populace.

I don't get it why English people still use 'Q'. It sounds the same as K and only used with 'U' in French-based words like 'Quiche'

needs more quotes. with 6-letter words I should have 100s of quotes, not 10. It would be more reasonable to the spirit ofthe game than just more money

a bug? Is there a reward for over 2,000 clicks? Yesterday I clicked over 2,000 times, and today in the Achiuevments screen there is only "100 clicks" label

I like the concept of this game but the amount of money you make is far too small and far too infrequent, especially to be counted on a per-letter basis. Every time you cycle over and add a new letter, it will take 27 times as many letters (26 plus the dash) in order to get to the next upgrade. But the upgrades only add 1 dollar per letter, and the bonuses are not very large, either. The diminishing return on the value of those upgrades (100%, 50%, 33%, 25%, and so on) is severely overpowered by the static 2700% increase in the effort between upgrades.
I'll admit that it doesn't amount out to a true 2700% in the time it takes, because presumably you would increase your LPS, but you cannot increase your LPS anywhere near the amount required to even halfway keep up, because of how shitty the cash upgrades are.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Money needs to keep accumulating based on new words regardless of the lps. I haven't seen my money increase aside from selling combinations since I hit 5mil Lps or so

Greater helpers (writers and others) do not scale well: looks disappointing when you, say, get 200 author.
Also, updating the game some time ago would have been fruitful: now (for a week or so) it's no longer in "hot new games"...

wish I could determine the order of letters in alphabet the scribes use to make words. You see, if the order is not "ABC" but "ETA..." correct words appear much faster

Suggestions : Add prestige based on found quotes, that increases money and/or letters per second globally. this way people can soft reset and try to reach further up.
Rewards for clicks, words and quotes are not scaled anywhere near the amounts of money they should be, for example, reach 13,000 words gives 10k cash, but i'm at slightly under 12,000 words and already have spent over 25M cash, 10k is pocket change, there is no incentive to reach the reward.

once the game gets into 9 characters progression is seriously broken, ou can barely upgrade anything for selling 2T combinations and it will take forever to earn that back from inreased speed
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Okay, I think I found a bug or something. Basically, I got the upgrade achievements, which are supposed to make upgrades cheaper. It does. But whenever I close the game and return after some time, the upgrades are back at their original cost.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
made it to nine letters words.. you should add achievements for 1T combinations and so on.. reward for quotes and words are so low. I have spent billions of gold, and next achievement is 33,000 words just for 100K gold. It is nothing. That's my report :D Take it into consideration if you will continue to develop this game :)

Many commenters are perhaps nitpicking this game. Yes, the dictionary is less than complete. Yes, some of the functions are confusing. However, the biggest drawback to the game is that it is an IDLE game. It is quite entertaining in its way, but ultimately a waste of time!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
What dictionary did you use? There's so many words missing. Why not use SOWPODS, the international Scrabble dictionary? Over 267k words. Not sure how many yours has, but I'm in the 6-letter e's with only 9k words. SOWPODS has about 25k at the same point.

@captainsmir, those words are not offensive in and of themselves. Fag is what the british sometimes call cigarettes, 'He's a Jap' is no more offensive than 'He's a Brit' or 'He's an Aussie' or 'He's a Yank' same with Jew just a shorter form of Jewish, you might say He's Jewish or you might say He's a Jew, neither is bad. It's all about context.

*convert, convert, convert* Nice, got some money for upgrades. Cool, I also backtracked to redo stuff... Wait a sec, I have to go through all this crap without getting anything for it? This is not like farm mode in other idle games... NOOOOOOOOO
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Wow! I bet this game isn't ment to be offensive, but so far I have seen the words words "fag, jap and jew". I hate to think what I will see when I hit five letters.
