If the game doesn't load in Ruffle, use this SWF file: supernova://play?swfurl=https://chat.kongregate.com/gamez/0008/3984/live/Lightbot2.0Kong.swf?kongregate_game_version=1364428095 (Just copy and paste the link into the URL bar and press Enter or Return to start playing!)

I like light bot 1.0 better. In light bot 1.0, you could clear most levels without useless moves, while in light bot 2.0 it seems that most levels have useless moves that can't be eliminated.

The last two levels can be done without using color tiles or loops. Just put the most used commands into f1 then combine a few f1s with other commands into f2, using f1 f2 and basic commands the level can be cleared. Not sure if it is the optimal methods though. Actually I don't know if it can be done with loops or color tiles.

These Lightbot games are good puzzles. The controls are good, instructions are clear, and nice graphics.

I lit up the blue tile in the tutorial but the level wont end. It just stays there. I checked the walkthrough to see if i'm somehow doing something wrong and I didn't. It just wont clear the level.

Programming is not my thing, but these games are very well-made. The wordless tutorial works very well. A nice creation that I'm sure others who ARE into programming will enjoy. For me, the basic level set was enough, but I enjoyed that bit.

OK, I'm clicking "play" and it brings me to a secondary screen with different choices, but won't let me play. HOW is this game supposed to work?

Edit: The game clearly isn't working properly for me either. I checked out the walkthrough, and it didn't match my first attempt. The level I got was completely blank, and the tutorial didn't launch. After seeing that, I gave it another shot. This time, the tutorial (which is still pretty bad, but at least it's there) did launch, but the level wouldn't register as complete, even after the blue tile was lit. Original assessment remains at one star. Definitely not worth my time to help debug further for a game that doesn't even look fun.

The UI is terrible, and SOME kind of in-game tutorial is absolutely necessary. If you haven't played the first one and/or you don't have some kind of coding experience, don't even bother.

1/5 game needs better menuing. for example, there are so many forward commands you need to do for a level. you should be able to hold down shift or something to keep your selection instead of going back to the bar every time. should rename this garbage 'tediousness: the game.' overall this game is boring and dumb. 1/5 complete waste of my valuable time.

This game dosen't opens after waiting for 10 minutes even with a high speed internet connection. Anyone else having the same problem.

Now I know what it's like when a robot programs a video game: beep, beep...loop...whirr...macro...gzzzztt...sprite...beep, beep. Fun in a robotic way. I hope I have time for the hard badge.

I liked the game, but like vlasec said, I don't like that I'm forced to write such fugly code. Also, those are not functions, they are subroutines.

Haha, Christmas eve, hardmode walkthrough achievement. I think Santa will understand that I never could have figured it out on my own.
