Thanks, this worked for me... Moved the save from "chat.kongregate.com" to "assets.kongregate.com" .
Axion must be behind all this !

Just further to my previous comment re: my game save disappearing and reappearing - the only thing I can think could have caused it was logging out of one facebook account and creating a new one on the same computer. Otherwise I have no idea why this has happened.
My guess is Kongregate might have switched the save location back again. So make sure to make backups if you try to restore the save by moving the save files. You might be replacing the wrong one.

So weird, my save game disappeared last week (after 12 levels completed) so I started over again. Then over the next few days I got up to the final few levels. Then today my new save game has disappeared and my old one has returned.
-My browser (Firefox) allows cookies
-My browser doesn’t delete cookies when exiting
-I'm not using software like CCleaner that deletes cookies
I thought it so strange to lose my save, only to have it return. I wonder if my near complete game is going to turn up again later? Just as well I enjoy the game so much. I don't mind playing through again.
It seems like others are having problems too. Is there any more information I can provide to help fix this issue?

My saved data also disappeared this morning, although I have a file "GhostHacker2.sol" , dated from my last playing session. It's already located in the "chat.kongregate.com" folder in the path you mentionned to Chlorinate (for chrome). Any other idea to restore it?

the screen "Click Anywhere to Play" isn't functioning any more. i'd played the past few days, but can't load past that screen now. (my saved data also disappeared yesterday).
The "Click Anywhere to Play" should be fixed now. You can try restoring the saves by moving the save files from assets.kongregate.com to chat.kongregate.com (make sure to backup the files you replace)
firefox: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\FlashPlayer\#SharedObjects\random letters\
chrome: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Pepper Data\Shockwave Flash\WritableRoot\#SharedObjects\random letters\

where did save data go. Lost all progress.
Someone mentioned kongregate did something to where it was stored...how do I even tell the game where to look for data.

Is there actually any advantage to upgrading memory leak? The numbers coming up for the damage over time are always one, and I'm not noticing the creep loosing 3 every 2 seconds when I examine them.
It does round down the numbers that float above the enemy when damaging them, but it is doing the extra fractional damage. If you look at the "Damage done" stat it will show the amount increasing by 1, then 2, then 1, etc.
Kongregate moved the save location. You could try moving the save files from assets.kongregate.com to chat.kongregate.com but that's a bit complicated. Here's the locations for firefox and chrome if you want to try:
firefox: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\FlashPlayer\#SharedObjects\Random numbers or letters\localhost
chrome: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\Random numbers or letters\

I think I fixed the loading problem. Can't really do anything about the saves though. It's now trying to load the saves from chat.kongregate.com instead of assets.kongregate.com

It looks like the Kongregate API changed causing a possible loading problem. It's not clear whether it's a problem with their API or not. Possibly related, my save game is also gone. It looks like Kongregate changed the save location.

So I'm missing one script; it's the one in the lower right-hand corner of the upgrade section. Anyone know what it is and how to get it?

Remember: When you change the difficulty, the walk-through button changes too. There is a walk-through for easy-hard... and one made for challenge difficulty.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The Walk-Through for Level 22 does work. You need to use scripts to delay the enemies. Use back-up to teleport cores back home. Use mines to stall enemies to take more damage.

Suggestion to creator:
On the loading screen with the brain that is being depixelated, the electronic white signals that pulse through the brain occasionally still pulse on the parts that have been depixelated. So it is random lines floating. You should change it so that it only pulses on the existing areas.

if you still you compressors later on expands are useful ,time boosts are useless since it already stacks its projectiles (but i went to level one to try it out it was practically a mini gun) attack boosts are things that never fails to help, and lastly links are very convenient

Here is my final set up for level 36 Hard: http://postimg.org/image/r82tj7a13/. I made some adjustments along the way, so you can't just use it without experimenting. It is very robust though and only had 2 close calls and they are the reaper's fault! Tricky trickster he is! A walkthrough is now available so I didn't bother numbering the sequence.

'the game of the month'wow thats actually true and damn theres some stories in it too :O its rare to see a plot or story in a tower defense
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Big tip for Monster Mode--send many units down each channel at once. I was originally trying to tactically take out towers but the more you send at once the more overwhelmed the enemy is. usually higher HP/regen is worth the cost.

lags: On level 29 splitter 2.0 splits to normal splitter 1.0. On level 30 I tried to block pathfinders path so I paused the game, put tower on its way, put some upgrades on it, unpaused the game and suddenly my tower disappears and I lost all memory I put into it and to its upgrades

You're 43 cores short of being able to upgrade everything. Granted, it's impossible to actually use everything, but it would be nice for completion's sake.
