Seems like it was thrown together in a rush. Controls are unresponsive, attacks/player can glitch through walls, balancing is poor and graphics are laughable. All this would be ok if it was fun. But in the end, the problems wreck it.

Hint: The name of the game isn't due to your rage power, but because of the amount of anger you will be feeling after dying to boss #2 for the 30th time.

My biggest gripe is when you "retry" to kill a boss you couldn't kill, you start with the same low health and you've lost bullets!

A whole lot of running around doing nothing. The boss fights were mildly interesting, although for the most part they felt clunky and grossly unfair

I'm stuck??? I am in the last level and have gone everywhere I could, killed all the enemies and can not find another gate or key. What am I missing?

Do you like back-tracking? Do you like pressing the "A" key? Do you like jumping to things that are too far away to see? Do you like pointless repetition of earlier levels to grind XP? HAVE I GOT THE GAME FOR YOU

It's interesting because I feel rage at the opposite time as the character does. I'm happy enough fighting enemies, but I'm much more enraged when aimlessly wandering around or falling off a platform.

back then i fought this game was awesome! But i can see why people are having complaintents but i think for its time this is still a good flash game!

Am I to assume the titular rage is when we discover we've got all exp available in the level and still aren't a high enough level to continue, with no way to leave the stage except refreshing the page, and then realizing that game doesn't autosave? This'll teach me to try to play a game without reading the comments first huh.

There is so much that can be improved on this game, bar the visuals. There is no clear indication when the platform ends and the air starts, attacks slow down the gameplay and bosses are a joke most of the time, since you just keep your distance and shoot at it. I can't even commend this game for its originality, since even most of the mechanics are taken from other popular games. And the leveling, oh, the leveling. It's pointless. The only reason you level is to open gates, which is just a timewaster. It doesn't make you feel valid for your actions, and it doesn't do anything to your stats, not even visually. And some variety in the attacks would be cool, I mean, it's essentially a one-button beat-em-up, and we all know how fun that sounds. Press A to win.

Making you have to go back and forth and back and forth through level content you've already done artificially makes the game longer. It also makes things boring. I can understand putting secrets in these areas for the hardcore and/or adventurous players, but making it a requirement in an action game slows down the feel of the game, and leaves a very bad taste in my mouth.

Had to restart level 4 twice because I wasn't high enough level for the gates. It's not a good way to extend the length of the game.

It's really fun for a bit and harkens back nicely to the old Newgrounds days of flash gaming, but there are a number of criticisms: Besides the level req gates just to advance in the adventure people have already criticized, there's the fact that the enemies never seem to get stronger or smarter at all (even in Arcade Mode which makes it incredibly boring/pointless); the fact that exp orbs never give more than 1 apiece which is a joke; and the fact that the rage powerups the game seems so obsessed with are worthless as it's best to just keep your rage as high as possible for the natural attack buff it applies.

Well this Kongpanion was certainly made up of the most 'Laptop unfriendly', and, 'with many Accessibility issues' game options! (Although some were worth playing more than others!) Due to being in severe pain trying to get through some of them, I'll keep this to: Getting to Level 4, and not being able to get any further due to not having enough Exp. & needing to restart the game - with no auto save file - is not my idea of the best game design in the world (@Shassa Thanks for the Comment, wish I'd read it earlier!); Normally I would have thought 'restart' was just that - specifically at the bosses - so why is my ammo used up? The colour scheme is also terrible in places (and I only have bad eyesight, not vision problems).
@Cosmoseth I understand platform games are not going to be the 'most accessible', but there are a LOT of tweaks that could make the game much better - for everyone - not just those who have a disability, like myself.

Uhh... how can we submit our score when we cannot even find a submit button? Or is there a bug of some sort? Cause the kong tracker seems to be working whereas the 'submit' button is not.

I can't find anything I like about this game. It's so clunky and lets be honest, there is no art design. Perhaps the worst thing is that you can't move and attack at the same time.

So after dying from a boss my health doesn't go back to full but the ammo I used stays at 0? That's pretty unfair. If my health doesn't change after each loss then neither should my ammo.

Tip: It helps to click out of the screen of the game and press ctrl + mouse scroller and scroll in. Makes the game bigger this will work on most games here but some it will not work on, I mean like when you try this on a game where it dose not work everything will be bigger but the game. But that it is only when it dose not work, most of the time it works. :P

Why are there certain games on kong where my keyboard is unresponsive and will act like i am holding a key down when im clearly not. any ideas on how to fix this?

It started promising. I mean, stick men fighting? sign me up, sounds like those awesome gifs from ages ago. But oh boy. from 4 it dropped to 2 stars, thanks to last level. First, 3rd boss gave no exp, so I was lvl4 in world 4. I couldn't pass that door that had lvl5 requirement, so I somehow jumped over it. thankfully I lvled up and managed to get out too. but yay, look at that - be lvl6 to proceed to boss. I mean srsly? I get idea of lvl gates for cool weapons, but to proceed with story? Sadly, I played that last lvl 3 times before ending up as lvl6. Gimme 6 diff levels rather than pulling this rabbit out of hat. :P

On the fourth section of the adventure mode you can bypass the level 5 gate by falling from higher up. I did this on accident and now I am stuck behind the gate as I can't go back through from the other side because I am not level 5 yet. Please add a platform or something to block this from happening or let the character pass through the gate from the opposite side.

honestly i dont see how peopel believe this is better, past the better graphics id say the game has gotten worse! the challenge scale is way too high, there is way too much platforming, what happened to the shop? and the level system is nice, though flawed

Guys!!! If any of you are having trouble to get the medium badge, like if you are in the last stage but don't have enough level to pass it, you can simply restart the stage to get more points!!! You can press "p" and then go to "menu", save your game, and then choose the 4th stage again. You'll begin with the same amount of XP so all you'll need to do is get more until you reach level 6! Hit + so everyone who start can see this and get the badge easily!!! ^-^

hm.....Strange at lvl 2 i bounced on a spring and was about to hit the ceiling when i pressed a and it hit the spring in the cage so i teleported up past the ceiling. so that allowed me to cheatr and find the final key to beat that lvl.

Cheat guide: "looney" - Faster gameplay; "bin" - Infinite ammo; "rackem" - Unlock all weapons; "adiosturdnuggets" - Skip to level 20; "prime" - Infinite rage; "trashly" - Invincibility. Thumbs up so everyone can see, and remember, have fun, you little cheaters. :P
